Flaxseed Meal Plus Plus Plus

I’ve been mixing flaxseed meal with yogurt and fruit sauces over the years. I recently searched around to find out if there might be something better and found Super Seed by Garden of Life. It’s mostly flaxseed meal blended in with gobs and gobs of other Great Stuff. I was pleasantly surprised to find it priced competitively with the plain ol’ flaxseed meal.
Unlike flaxseed meal, this mixes well with liquids. Quite palatable with 8 oz. of reverse osmosis water, with the same amount of fruit juice it’s just great. In fact, mixed with Sunsweet PlumSmart juice it’s absolutely delightful! A real treat. And that’s not even considering all the other outstanding benefits of that juice; if you haven’t checked out that PlumSmart, you should.
In fruit sauces, Super Seed mixes as well as flaxseed meal and tastes much, much better.
As long as Super Seed is available, I don’t believe I’ll ever go back to using flaxseed meal.

Super Seed is without a doubt the best fiber supplement I’ve ever tried. It’s also probably the healthiest way to get fiber other than eating leafy greens. Great product!

Very good fiber

This is one of the best fiber supplements on the market. Not only does it include both soluble and insoluble fiber, it also includes beneficial probiotic bacteria and on top of that tastes great. Each scoop of Super Seed contains 7g of fiber from whole foods like flax seed, chia seed and legumes. On top of that, since it’s a whole food fiber, it also adds nutrition to whatever you mix it with in the form of protein, vitamins, minerals and beneficial fats from the flax seeds(omega 3).
The best part about this is that it doesn’t contain Psyllium which is the ‘in’ fiber these days but a lot of people find that it’s too harsh on the stomach and can cause constipation easily if not taken with a lot of fluids. Super Seed is much gentler than your average fiber supplement and tastes great with anything. My favorite way to use it is to add half a scoop to Lifeway’s plain kefir. It tastes great and is very healthy for me too. As with any fiber supplement, make sure to drink 6-10 glasses of water a day.
great working, bad tasting

This product works amazing….if you can get past the taste. I could not. I literally gagged and gagged every time I tried to take it. A lot of people say they mix it into juice, which probably would work better, but I didn’t feel the added calories or sugar were a great idea for me. If you do not have a sensitive gag reflex, this product is perfect for you. The one time I did get it all down, I felt great.
The best fiber i’ve found

Someone said it was a bad tasting fiber and that if you can get past the gag reflex it’s tolerable, well they don’t know what is great fiber. I’m ordering 4 more jars of this from another supplier for free shipping. However, they are taking forever because i can’t wait so i ordered again thru Amazon and supplied by Vitamin Shoppe. This is an awesome tasting fiber and would definitely recommended it. So we have 5 jars of 600 gms on order!
My wife complained so much I was eating all her fiber that we had to enough to not run out.
Super Seed Helped Acid Reflux

My husband has bad acid reflux and bad side effects to all the drugs used for that (you know what those are if you have acid reflux). So we needed to find a more natural alternative. We hit on Super Seed & it helps him. What more can I say.
Really Does Work!

This product really works, I have been taking this for about two months and I am amazed how much better I feel. I always take one scoop full in the morning mixed with cranberry juice. I used to have stomach problems with many trips to the bathroom… NOT ANY MORE! With this product I have no more stomach problems at all! I have less trips to the bathroom and much more energy. I feel twenty years younger! GREAT PRODUCT!

You need Fiber

Years ago, I used to fast once a week and really take good care of myself. I fell off the wagon and started working and going out a lot and forgot that I really need to take care of myself. I decided to do a cleanse with the Garden of Life 10 day kit. It is suggested that after the cleanse that you maintain colon health with this fiber. I decided to take a chance and I love this fiber. I take this before I go to bed and in the morning I eat Fiber One cereal, (although the cereal has a sugar substitute that I am not crazy about), but these in combination make me feel like I am walking on air. You will lose weight and feel like a new person. I plan on continuing use and also using the Garden of Life cleanse twice a year. Get it!

I love this stuff. I take Twice a day.as directed in the Maker’s Diet. My stomach and intestines are much happier with this natural fiber with probiotics. This product is helping me loose weight.

I feel I should defend this product about “bad tasting” remarks, because I have consumed at least 4 jars of this – two of them the smaller sized jars – and I find that what it says on the jar label is true, quote,”Color and taste may vary from lot to lot.” That is quite true! Some of the ones I bought tasted very good to me, and others were not half as delicious. I recommend, if you should not like the taste, to mix it with some cold spiced apple cider/juice.
One of the things I like about this product is that it is not very sweet, and I dislike taking some other powdered fiber supplements that are sweet and come flavored with orange or citrus — yuck! Which reminds me that I had read someone else’s review of this product where they said it contained sugar, and it most certainly doesn’t! One serving contains less than 1 gram of sugar, and that is sugars that are naturally occuring in the ingredients. This Super Seed is lightly sweetened with stevia.
I have ordered a jar of this to arrive every month with that service from amazon, because I am pleased with the stuff. It doesn’t cure my irritable bowel syndrome, but I have had that illness for many years and don’t expect anything to fix it overnight. Buying this Super Seed sure beats grinding flax seeds into a powder at home. It is wonderfully convenient that way.

This is a great product for anyone seeking a healthy, pure fiber supplement. It has a nutty taste and I was rather surprised that it had the nice flavor since many similar products have terrible flavor!!
