Have Used Many Times

Okay, some of the other reviews have disturbed me, so I feel as if I need to place a review here. I have used this product along with Oil Smart and Fiber Smart. The important thing to note is that this is a 7 pathway cleanse. The pills taken in the morning are for cleansing for skin, circulation, lymphatic system, etc. The night pills are to assist in elimination via the bowels. This product will cause diarrhea and a LOT of bowel movement at first, but it levels out after the first 3 or 4 days. Adjust the evening pills as necessary. Don’t take 2 a night if you have excessive bowel movements, you may only need to take one every 2 or 3 nights. This is NOT a diet aid; it is a cleanse. You will lose weight if you follow the eating recommendations, drink lots of water and sweat for 30 minutes a day, and stay on the cleanse for 30 days. But, no pill is a fix all.

Many have said that this product did not work or was too harsh.
But, many of you must have been doing an internal cleanse for the first time, and if this is the case you are
starting off with a product that is WAY too strong.
You should first start with the introduction fomula, FIRST CLEANSE. (Which is made by the same company)
CLEANSE SMART should only be used if you have done a internal cleanse before. Otherwise, you get all of the problems everyone has discribed in these reviews

I am taking this product as my first herbal cleanse. It should be noted that I have been working on my diet for over a year now, eating only cultured dairy products, less cheese, less gluten (my wife is allergic), drinking more water, and much much less sugar. I’m taking the powdered flax fiber mix once a day, as well as about three or four times as much water as I normally drink. I haven’t drank alcohol for three years.
I’m very happy with the results so far. I’ve never been so regular, to memory. I went from having bowel movements every three to four days, to having one or two every day. My bowel movements smell a LOT worse, which I’m taking as a good sign that some serious junk is getting flushed out. It’s been about 10 days since I started, and I don’t have any negative side-effects, except for a stronger urgency to use the bathroom when it’s time. I’m only curious if I will stay regular after I stop taking the cleanse. I hope so.
Not for high blood pressure sufferers

I was heavily bloated and constipated with this product and it sent up my blood pressure. Do not use if you suffer from high blood pressure.

Miteyoak, thank you for your expertise and detailed instructions. One thing to modify…. CleanseSmart is not intended to give you diarrhea. It even says on the package, “Do not use PM pills if you have or develop abdominal pain, diarrhea, or loose stools.” The goal is to have two soft bowel movements per day. I already had that before starting the cleanse, so I used the AM pills by themselves. When I get constipated, I take fiber: Metamucil free and clear, which is 100% inulin. (I can’t take RenewLife fiber because I’m allergic to oat grass.) Last night, on my 20th day of CleanseSmart, I took one PM pill; I sure regretted it this morning. PM pills are super-laxatives.
With CleanseSmart, I drink lots of water, eat organic, use natural soaps and lotions, and brush my skin just before my hot baths. Dry skin brushing works wonders; it permanently softens your skin, and it allows more toxins to be removed through your skin when you sweat. Fiber, sweating, and dry skin brushing are very important to assist cleansing, as described in the book “Detox Strategy” by Brenda Watson, developer of RenewLife.

I have read all the reviews here. I have been using these cleanses for over 5 years. Just some suggestions….there is a document provided with each cleanse(in the box) follow the diet suggestions and also the dosage intake variance suggestions. Different folk’s metabolisms react differently. Also understand, depending on the amount of toxins evoked (if you have a real cruddy system), you are sure to experience discomfort in various forms as the pollutants are reintroduced back into your system for evacuation. Kind of like stirring up a wasp nest. In short, the worse you feel probably is a sign that you are doing your body a great service as you cleanse. So slow down the re introduction of these pollutants into your system by reducing your dosages. Spread it out a little over time until you can gradually increase back to the prescribed daily amounts to complete your cleanse. Common sense folks!

Wow, I didn’t expect to lose this much weight this fast. I have only been using this for two days and I have lost two pounds. I feel so much happier now. I truly recommend this to anyone who is trying to lose weight.

I try to do this cleanse every 6 months. However, I have to agree with alot of the suggestions/comments. I have listed some tips below that worked for me: Good luck!! Happy Health New Year!!
1. Start on a thursday.
2. Follow the instructions very carefully.
3. Take bio-k fruit flavor in the am(you find this in whole foods market or online).
It is a probiotic that has 50 billion live cultures in one serving!! This product is amazing!!
4. Drink lots of water.
5. Eat good foods.

My husband and I are both doing this cleanse, and both of us find it useless. We are doing it along with taking the Fibersmart and taking flax oil every day. I am having DECREASED BM’s, not increased. It is not cleansing me at all, I have less energy if anything. Same with my husband. We feel somewhat constipated sometimes. We’re finishing off the month, but I will go back to the one I did 5 years ago that was fantastic: it’s at wholeapproach.com. No, I have no affiliation with it, it just worked for me. I believe what they say on there, that a pill can’t do to do your colon just passing through, what a slowed-down fiber can do to your colon. It works like a roto-rooter, scrubbing its way through. I didn’t do that cleanse this time because I had forgotten the name of it and the website, but I’ve since found a receipt. I will do that one when I’m done with this one. I really don’t feel this cleanse is doing a thing and if anything feel it’s either too gentle or just ineffective.

I’m half way through this month long cleanse, and I’m still pretty sick to my stomach…maybe not every day, but just about. The evening pills make the next morning quite interesting! You spend about half the morning on the toliet, which makes it hard to get anything done. So at least I know that it’s cleaning something out! I don’t feel like I’ve gained anymore energy or anything, sometimes I even feel more sluggish because it takes a lot out of you.

I tried this product based on what most of the other reviewers said. I used the cleanse smart along with the oil smart and the fiber smart as reccomended, however, it didn’t do anything. I too felt bloated, constipated and anxious waiting to go. Don’t use this product. It actually makes you feel worse than before using it.

As the most positive, detailed reviews state, this is NOT the product you want if you want to take a pill and feel no effects or make no changes in your habits or lifestyle. However, isn’t that why we want to accomplish a cleanse? When I was younger, I didn’t see the point of such products, nor did I credit the excitement some of my acquaintances reported regarding various cleansing techniques. However, now that I am older and have been dealing with some complaints, I thought I would give FirstCleanse a try. It worked well, and I saw positive changes in my skin and digestion almost immediately.
So then I got this product, and the results continued. I have lost weight, too, without much change in my habits. Yes, I did have to take a little care. But fixing decades of damage can’t be done overnight.
Since I was going through a job change, I took only one pill – and thus got two months of help for one. Am sure it’s not the optimal way to take it; but I concur that if you feel the changes are happening too fast, this is an alternative.
I will soon be buying again, and am looking forward to more weight loss and more improved health.

I followed the directions and this product worked. It was a couple years ago, and I have been thinking of doing another. Here is what I noticed: larger (much larger) bowel movements. This did not take long. Also I got rid of my lactose intolerance. Since doing the cleanse, I have become progressively more of a health nut. If a friend told you that a colon cleanse is a good idea, I fully concur. I have not compared versus other products though, so you might want to read reviews on other products. Good luck!
