 Acai Powder

It appears this product contains Omega’s, but no where on the package does it state it’s ORAC value. The ORAC value is what most people are looking for in an Acai product. It doesn’t blend too well with liquid. I won’t be buying this product again. The shipping was fast and I would recommend the seller, just not the product.

 Quality is inconsistent

I have brought these few times, the first bottle that we have received seems to mix well, also the taste was good , but the next 2 bottles were not as good as the first one. It seems to be a hit or miss if you buy this product it might come out good or bad. These powder seems to come in two different packaging one is purple and other is green, I tried both and they seems to taste bad. BTW also tried perfect acai which is costlier but the taste is much better then this one and also it state the ORAC ingredients etc upfront

Doesn’t mix well, tastes bad, notice no benefits

I went into this product with high hopes, but came out feeling like I was duped. First off, if you put this just in water, it tastes absolutely terrible. Might as well throw some stevia in there. Also, this stuff will cake on the sides of any glass or water bottle you put it into. Doesn’t mix well at all.
Lastly, all this “ORAC” hype, yet I noticed absolutely zero benefits of taking it. I noticed about the same effects I would get if I ate a strawberry. ONE strawberry.
Overhyped, overpriced product. Spend your money elsewhere.

Might be healthy but tastes NASTY lol

Not sure if it is just me or what but this stuff is very nasty tasting lol. I have not tried it in a smoothie yet but I have tried it in Water & in Yogurt. I am not giving up on it because I need the health benefits lol. But. Just wanted to warn you before hand that it is an acquired taste & do not expect it to taste yummy right off the bat lol.

SAMBAZON acai is a great product have been using for years now. Yes it can be gritty and somewhat bitter if not mixed with other ingredients but if you mix it in vanilla yogurt(I use dannon all natural vanilla it is pretty good.) I also mix in some navitas raw cacao power chocolate nibs(ground)…. sometimes. You can try it with Tofutti vanilla milk- free Premium frozen desert and add a scoop Acai and some walnuts or just make yourself a banana/acai smoothie with some almond/soy milk. Experiment with different fruits like blueberries or whatever you choose. For those of you on WW 1 scoop is only ZERO points @ 19 calories. sodium 5mg sugar omg total fat 1.5 mg SAMBAZON is ORGANIC…..Freeze dried it is a antioxidant rich superfood drink mix that will boost your energy and help your immune system, and promotes healthy skin. Do not forget to try the Sambazon frozen acai but make sure it is the sugar free if you are trying to stay away from added sugar.(Read Labels)

I knew from either reading an article or hearing about Acai that is was packed with antioxidants. I first tasted this when it caught my eye in walmart. A small, pricey Sambazon drink was 4.99, but I was so curious…I had to try it. It was DELICIOUS, however, not really in my budget for daily consumption. I was thrilled to find this acai powder on amazon…. especially for the price =)
Once you open it, make sure to store it in the fridge. The little scoop is included, there’s also oxygen absorption pack in the powder(just thought I would mention it because it scared me when it all the sudden appeared).
After experimenting, I have found my favorite way to use this powerscoop of Acai. I drink this every morning, and am happy to get my antioxidants =) I am going to share two different recipes if anyone would like to try:
1. Strawberry/Blueberry shake with Acai powerscoop
Handful each of frozen (or fresh) strawberries & blueberries
1 powerscoop Acai
splash of apple juice
1 1/2 cups original/plain soy milk
Ice cubes – # of is your preference on consistency
Blend until smooth. You can substitute regular milk, or do 1/2 milk 1/2 water…also, if no Apple Juice on hand, use a squeeze of honey. Also tasty with raspberries =)
*The next one I use because I am trying to gain weight*
Handful of blueberries
1 scoop of Strawberries & Cream Muscle Milk
1 powerscoop Acai
Splash AJ
1 cup Soy Milk
1/2 cup water
Ice cubes
Blend until smooth!
I highly recommend this product – Sambazon is high quality, you can’t beat the price!

I don’t know that I noticed more energy, but probably more focus… especially when it came time for sleep. I found myself getting some deep sleep as opposed to my typical tossing and turning. Perhaps because of a day being more focused? Dunno… but that was only taking one dose a day. I’ll try one in the morning and at night to see how that works.
As far as the taste goes… I’d take mine with yogurt and couldn’t taste anything other than the yogurt. I think people complaining about it having a “dirt taste” are probably the rare case or thinking about it a bit too much.

Unfortunately acai isn’t the super diet supplement, but it does have high levels of antioxidants.This particular jar is by far the best way to buy,tast great when mixed in a blender and is the cheapest on the market.

I purchased this product because al the studies I read said the freeze dried product was the only product that worked because of high concentration, I was good on the stomach, great mixed with O.J, I did feel a bit more energy. All in all good Vitamins and Nutrients. I will buy again.

This product is not good when compares to the one I brought form Whole Food. My eyes were not dry and the dark spots on my eyes were gone after I took the bottle from Whole Food but the one I ordered from Amazon did not work. The powder seems to be lighter and floating on top of the cup a lot more than the real one.
I think this product is not real becasue my sister and I both took it and it did not work. Her dark spots came back and her eyes feel dry again.
Worst of all I want to return the one bottle I ordered earlier, since I threw away the wrapping and they won’t accept it back. They want it to be in the manufacture original packaging and in the same condition as I received it.
I hope Amazon can check the product from this company. I love to order products from Amazon. Please help me to feel good about ordering products from you again. Thanks a lot!

Giving it 4 out of 5 stars only because it is hard to dissolve. I do love the product though. It is organic, free trade, well packaged, etc. I like to mix a scoop with blueberry/pomegranate or other dark berry juices and it is simply delicious. Again, it’s a little gritty and hard to dissolve, especially if you store it in the fridge, but I love the ACAI powder and am hooked. One scoop = three servings of fruit, so it’s good for you if nothing else, and I definitely feel it’s boosted my energy level and my metabolism and jump started my diet. I just ordered more….at $11.99 shipped you can’t beat it thanks Amazon!

ACAI Powerscoop Powder 90 Grams
According to the product literature, this ACAI powder by Sambazon is organic and USDA stamped. I wanted a good antioxidant supplement to take in addition to my other supplements. It is a deep purple color, tastes good, and easily dissolves in liquid. I take mine every morning mixed into my oat bran cereal or stir it into milk or juice. I have so far purchased 4 cans, and each can lasts for about one month. I find it gives me energy, and eliminates bloating and gas which I had before starting this product. It also seems to help my joints for mobility, which I assume is because it is acting on inflamation such as arthritis. I feel that my skin is looking better and I have recommended it to my son who has dry, sensitive skin. I am delighted with this product.
