5Fantastic device – pick your Kindle!
By Amazonoholic
Having been a little overwhelmed by the choices between all the new Kindles and which one to get, I ordered this new basic $79 Kindle first to take for a spin. So far, I like what I see. I also own a Kindle 3 so that’s the only device I can really compare it to at this time (I think a comparison between other tablets and this Kindle is meaningless, this device is all about content and delivery):

  1. Outrageous shipping charges
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I researched your site for the best Acai berry juice and ended up choosing this one I have been drinking it for about 3 months now. When I went to order it again for this month they have added a shipping charge of 17.99 I had been receiving supers saver free shipping on this why has this changed for this product? The shipping charge is almost the same price you are charging for the drink. Sad to say I will now have to look else where for a new Acai berry drink where they don’t charge outrageous shipping fees.

    Very Disappointed in your change

  2. Definitely Not As Good as Bossa Nova
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I do agree with some of the other reviews of this beverage. Acai juice with agave (to sweeten) is very nice in flavor, but since this brand adds the acerola juice, I think this definitely changes the flavor. It’s not bad, and I agree that it tastes kind of medicine-like, but I would not buy it again. I love the Bossa Nova original acai flavor (purple). It is sweet, yet has the lowest sugar and calories of any of the acai juice beverages on the market. I would highly recommend the Bossa Nova brand!!!

  3. I’m glad to have stepped outside the box with this beverage
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I honestly thought that I wasn’t going to like the taste, and honestly, I’m still warming up to this drink after a month of drinking this. It’s bearable and I like what benefits that come with it. If it wasn’t so gritty and more smooth, I think I’ll drink the acai like it’s water.

  4. Great and Healthy!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I tried this product when I had a cold and it helped me get better sooner! I highly recommend this product. It is not only very healthy for you but it tastes great! I wish however that it was a bit cheaper…

  5. NOW I KNOW WHY ITS USUALLY BLENDED WITH OTHER JUICES
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I’ve been wondering for some time about Acai Juice and why I’ve only recently (in the past couple of years) even seen it available. Now I know why. This stuff is gross! One taste is all I needed to understand why its nearly always blended with something palatable. I had to mix it with guava or mango juice and lots of ice in order to drink it. Wild harvested? Sure, if it was good, it would have been cultivated centuries ago. Health? So is cabbage juice but who wants to drink it. Once again, marketing ‘experts’ have found away to sell something ‘new’ and ‘healthy’ to a gullible public. BLEA! Now, if you really want to try something nasty, try the Goji Berry Juice (on second thought, don’t). You’ll regret it.

  6. Horrible taste.
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I’ve just went to Whole Foods and grabbed several different brands of acai juice. This o.n.e. brand so far has been the worst tasting acai juice I have ever tried. My best recommendation is to head to Ralphs or Whole Foods and grab the Bossa Nova acai juice which in my opinion is the best tasting acai juice (not to mention the most pure/not from concentrate juice/no added cane juice). Stay away from this one.

  7. Great product for the money. Berries are good, Acai is king berry.
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Great price for a nutritious product. Thin it with seltzer or sparkling wine. Happy with purchase and I work in a health foods store. Expect fiber and minimally filtered greatness.

  8. Couldn’t get past the taste!
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I enjoy drinking coconut water and other natural juices that provide health benefits and I have been hearing a lot off good things about Acai so I really wanted to try this product. I tried several times but could not get past the, for lack of a better word, bitter taste. I even tried to get the benefits by adding this to other juices. The texture is thick and the pulp just seemed to settle in the bottom of the glass and did not mix well. The taste also overpowered any but the sweetest fruit juices. I now have a carton minus two that will be finding it’s way into my trash. The inside carton of my shipment was open with one leaking container so maybe my juice wasn’t exactly at its peak but I won’t be trying it again.

  9. awful stuff
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Although I’ve never had Acai by itself I figured this would be a good way to start. After all, Organic, fresh. If this is it I’m going back to sugar based juices. I wish I had read the reviews. The smell and taste reminded me of fermented or sour juice. I thought I got a bad shipment so I figured I would check out previous reviews. They all pretty much agree with my accessment. I’m going to try mixing it with vodka or gin or maybe dilute it with some Ocean Spray to try to finish it off. If it’s this bad having good health I’m off to buy a juicy, med-rare bacon cheeseburger and wash it down w/a diet pepsi.

  10. Gagged me it was so incredibly revolting! BLECH
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I have had other Acai drinks so it’s not the taste of Acai that I find revolting – just this stuff. it’s thick, kinda gloppy and has a nasty vinegary aftertaste. I tried filtering it through a gold coffee filter to get rid of the sediments and that helped the texture but didn’t do much to improve the taste. Ultimately, the only way I was able to drink this stuff and not waste it was to mix it with some apple juice or grape juice. The best way to explain the taste is to compare it to the juice you get when you press wine grapes. Wine grapes aren’t very sweet and when you press them, you get a thick, sourish juice. That’s similar to this crap. Maybe you could put some of this into a smoothie with a banana but I think you might be wasting a good banana. My best advice is to try this before you buy a whole case of it. maybe you’ll like it and think I’m wrong. If you do, great! But if, like me, you find the product is simply ghastly, you’ll have saved some money.

  11. Refreshing, healthy, unique taste
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
It is nice to discover a new refreshing truly different beverage that is also potentially healthy. I started out looking for Pomegranate juice for its purported antioxidant benefit, and stumbled over this Acai Drink. As noted elsewhere, the straw pictured on the package is just a suggested utensil… as the beverage container does not actually come with a straw. Well-refrigerated, and consumed with a straw, this beverage taken every few days will be a small pleasure for you.

  12. Not what I expected. Not terrible, but wouldn’t buy it again.
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Not what I expected, but it wasn’t necessarily terrible. It tasted mildly like prune (with a hint of berry) and the texture much the same as prune juice. I would not buy it again, but what I bought most likely won’t go to waste. I am in no hurry to drink the other 11 in the case, but I have approx. 2 months before they expire. If you want it for the health benefits, it is drinkable, just would not be my first choice.

  13. Interesting taste, I like it
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I wanted to taste it just because I like to taste new stuff, and because it is claimed to be “superfood”. I liked the taste and now I drink this one or Zola Acai nearly every day, just because I like the taste and because it’s conveniently delivered to me by Amazon’s subscription.

I buy tons of stuff on Amazon and rarely write reviews, but I remember when I first open this web-page I hesitated to buy, because there were a lot of negative reviews. I finally bought it out of curiosity, and was prepared for something awful. It turned out to be one of my favorite drinks. So I thought it would be fair for the product if I write a review.

I gave it to other people to taste, and most people liked it. Like with any food, there are personal preferences. Some people drink coffee, some don’t. So my advice is – ignore any review (positive and negative). If you want to taste it, taste it.

P.S. I’m not telling that Acai juice is any better than let’s say blueberry juice. It’s just that I like variety, and that Amazon delivers this one to me. I would enjoy Amazon having more natural berry juices available for delivery.

  14. quite possibly the worst drink EVER
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I picked some of this up because I am always looking for drinks that are both delicious and nutritious. This stuff might be nutritious but since it will never find it’s way into my body, it’s moot. It is, hands down, the most vile stuff I have ever tried to drink. It is reminiscent of a really horrible cough medicine we had as kids. And I think it might even be worse than that. My roommate actually gagged when she tried it. I have tried a lot of different things in the name of healthier eating and this is the worst of the worst. Do not spend your money on this product. I don’t know if the other O.N.E. products are any better but I won’t be finding out. No way will I give them any more of my money.

  15. Very Good
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Acai is all the rage right. Its popularity is steadily growing and will soon hit fad-proportions.

That said, it is a very good beverage that I find myself craving. At first, the taste is ok. It is not revolting and does not make you gag, as some seem to imply. It is very much like a melted chocolate snoball in flavor. The colder you make it the better it tastes.

I drink it right after a workout. I find that this brand is the least expensive and most convenient as well. I would like to see the percentage of Acai vs Cherry juice on the label. It is not provided. It only says that it contains a “splash” of cherry.

I like it. I would call it an acquired taste that you can quickly acquire.
