He includes a quiz to determine your skin’s “virtual age” and presents his home-treatment plans for cleaning skin and treating skin damage. He discusses good sense items like the effects on the skin’s aspect of smoking, sun damage, and a healthful diet. Be conscious that Dover does include his own skin-care line (CVS Pharmacy’s Skin Effects) in his list of commended products; however, the conflict of interest this might normally cause seems to be negated by the breadth of his list of commended products, including low-priced items like Dove soap and high-priced La Prairie, and his insistence allround the book that you don’t have to use pricey merchandise or office procedures to have good-looking skin. For those interested, this is a nice take on all of the anti-aging treatments and merchandise available and a good overview of how skin ages and how to care for it. This is the best moisturizer I’ve used, other than for Creme De La Mer. I use this between using another cheaper and more simple moisturizer and the balance works for me. After a night, there is a visual change in the quality of my skin. There is actually very little product in this packaging. I opened the container once and it was laughable the way they designed the bottle to make it look like it would contain a lot more product. It’s not the lowest priced moisturizer but for what it does, it’s worth it.

Total effective aging de-moisturizer

I had to retrieve the container from my bathroom trash bin and re-examine label to ensure I was reviewing the correct product. My experiences are totally different from all the reviews. I bought this moisturizer with very high hopes of slowing down the number of fine lines under my eyes and the sagging skin on both ends of my mouth. But I was primarily interested in a good moisturizer!! This product did not moisturize at all. After applying it, my skin appeared to have thin white film like I had put too much baby powder. I would put layers and layers of it hoping that the dryness would stop but my skin still looked dry and lifeless. There is also excessive packaging for a small quantity of the product. I used up the entire container and even broke off the top so I could scrape out the last drop but the fine lines under my eyes are still there and my sagging skin has not changed. This product is not only a poor moisturizer, it does nothing for aging skin . Waste of money

Could have been a combination of many things; but since using this product my skin broke out worst than any other time in my life…yes, even worst than in high school. Again, I’m not prepared to put the blame solely on this product…but geez, what a coincidence that I just happen to brake out just a few days after using it…So, that’s the bad news.
The cool thing about this product is that it is NOT greasy and has no perfumes. Despite the bad reaction, it SEEMS even folks with sensitive skin (like me) SHOULD be able to use this more than once a day. Perhaps, my case is just really, really rare. It is for this reason that I didn’t rate it “1″ star.

I have been using this product for years and people always comment on how young-looking my skin is. It’s deceiving because it’s very rich feeling when it first goes on but it absorbs quickly and never feels greasy. An excellent product.

This is a good product, not to greasy, but I have not noticed any diminishing lines or wrinkles. Then again, it does say anti-aging, so who knows it might be doing its job- not letting me age from here on out. I’ll let you know in a couple of years.
IN TWO WORDS “TOTALLY EFFECTIVE!!

I purchased Olay Total Effects 7x Visible Anti-Aging Vitamin Complex two weeks ago and it is fantastic!! In just this short period of time, with once daily use, it has completely cleared up the dry, red, crusty, itchy spots between my eyebrows, the sides of my nose and the corners of my mouth. It has also greatly diminished the discoloration on my cheekbones and above my upper lip (this one looked much like a thin mustache, I hated it). I have tried bleaching creams, scrubs, etc., to no avail, but this product actually does all that the manfacturer says it will do. It seems to break down the discoloration and start to remove it first in the area which is not the thickest and goes on to the most prominent parts. This product goes on smoothly, is not greasy, absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and revitalized. It only takes a small amount to cover the face and neck area. I am noticing a difference in the reduction of the crow’s feet in the corners of my eyes and in the smoothness of the neck area. This product has worked fast and great for me. I hope that others will be as satisfied as I am with it. I’m going to invest in other products in this line, such as a cleanser, and the night time moisterizer. Even though it cost more than I usually pay for skin care products, it is more than well worth it. I can see now that it will last longer and I can’t say this enough “IT WORKS”!!
Excellent Moisturizer for the Price

I have been using Olay products since I was a teenager (now 38) and am completely in awe of this product. Compared to other products that easily cost twice as much or more, this product really works.
Apply it in the morning before make-up or even apply it in the evening after make-up. It goes on very smoothly and soaks right in without a greasy “heavy” feel.
Give this product a try. You will not be disappointed.
My skin is so soft!

I have been using the product for a week now and I’ve noticed that my skin is very soft and supple. I put one whole pump morning and night because I use a medication that severely dries out my skin and the dry flakes are now gone. Only time will tell if it has anti aging properties, but it doesn’t hurt to try.

This is a great moisturizer that isn’t overly greasy or heavy feeling on the face. My dermatologist “prescribed” it to me and said it has great anti-aging properties even for young skin (mid-twenties in my case – she said early prevention is best). It is also noncomedogenic (won’t clog pores), so it’s good for acne-prone skin like mine. It feels rich yet lightweight at the same time – the perfect combination for combination skin!

Overpriced…underperforms

This product is actually a lotion, not a creme which I expected. Being a lotion and rather thin in consistency, you will have to use a lot more. This is especially true considering the fact that there does not seem to be a whole lot of moisturizers in it. I find my cheap Suave hand lotion moisturizes my skin better, and at about 1/50th the cost ounce for ounce.
