An incredible deal on the world’s best black tea!

Twinings English Breakfast Tea is by far the best black tea sold in teabag form that you can get on the retail market. Rich, full bodied and spicy. It’s great alone or lightly sweetened. I drink a cup every morning for my caffeine rush, and it’s MUCH healthier then drinking coffee! The price to buy Twinings English Breakfast Tea in bulk from Amazon is truly a great deal. Normally, in the grocery store, a 20 bag box sells for $4.99. This 50 count x 6 boxes makes it about $4.75 a box, but for 50!!! Not 20! If you’re a tea lover, then trust me, you will love this tea. And buy it from Amazon, cause you can’t beat their price!

Twinings was founded in London, England in 1706, and has a long and respected tradition of producing only the finest of teas. English Breakfast tea is a mixture of black teas from Sri Lanka, which are blended to produce a smooth yet flavorful tea. Though often served during breakfast, this tea tastes excellent all day long.
OK, let’s get down to brass tacks – this is another great tea. Harder to over-steep than some of the teas I have known, it consistently produces a smooth and highly drinkable cup. Highly conventional in its taste, English Breakfast tea has a robust flavor that stands up well to lemon and milk, which makes it a favorite among those who like to accessorize their tea. Plus, I must say that this tea is wonderful iced – add some lemon and sugar, and you’ve got the right tea for a hot afternoon!
And that’s my review. If you want an excellent all-round tea, hot or iced, one that goes well with any food, then English Breakfast tea is for you. If you want tea from a great tea producer, them Twinings is for you. I highly recommend Twinings’ English Breakfast tea to all, even those not normally into tea drinking. (Or, perhaps especially to those not normally into tea drinking!)

This is one of my favorite teas. This is 1/2 the cost of my grocery store, and since the bags are individually wrapped, freshness is not an issue.

I’ve been drinking Twinnings English Breakfast Tea for many years now and up until my friend found it listed on Amazon.com, I’d been paying as much as $9.00 for one box of 50 teabags. To see that price come down to ten cents a teabag is awesome!

I’ve had this tea all around the world, and while the flavour of generic tea varies from one country to another, Twining’s is the same great quality tea wherever you are in the world.

Twinings English Breakfast tea is much better than any of the teas generally available in US shops. It may be a bit more expensive (though at $28.11 for package of half dozen fifty count boxes, cost is less than ten cents per tea bag) but it is definitely worth it. Thanks to amazon.com for making this good tea available at a fair price.
Best bagged tea from Twinings

I always prefer Twinings to Lipton bagged tea; and this is the best from Twinings I’ve tried. The individually wrapped tea bag preserves tea leaves flavor which is at its best with boiling water. This tea is not too strong and far from bitter as in other tea bags, whose flavor and color are great for milk tea.
If there’s no time to wait for a true boiling hot tea with Assam tea leaves then this is a good alternative for a busy morning before rushing out to work.

This is the only English Breakfast tea on the market that earns its name.. It is full bodied, rich, and flavorful. Earl Grey tastes like perfume and the majority of others are thin and lack the depth this has. Have no fear, drink here.

This is a wonderful Zingy, dashing, bright and bracing tea!! Dignified enough for a queen, yet hearty enough to accompany a before-going-out-to-chop-wood/shovel snow breakfast of thick slices of toasted slabs of bread liberally slathered with butter.
Ah….!! Twinings, I have loved you all my tea-drinking life (I started when I was 10), and you have NEVER let me down!!

Of course its good. Its Twinings English breakfast tea. Tastes more like a good Indian tea. maybe because it is blended with Kenyan and Assam tea.
I am never going to do business with USPS. The delivery attempt failed so I had to get that from their office and because government agency’s policies are made by morons, I couldn’t get the parcel because the name on the parcel is an abbreviation of my name. So I had to show them an ID that had my abbreviated name on it. They said my electricity bill (It comes on my roomie’s name) is a proof of my address but not of my identity, so it wasnt enough.
English Breakfast in name only

This was once a very very good tea with lots of full bodied flavor and scent. Then a few years back the corporate suits looked at their bottom line and gambled that there are enough Americans who can’t really distinguish good from mediocre, so why not cut back on quality and cruise on the Twinings name. Judging by the stellar reviews of their product, they made a smart business decision. They bought cheap leaves and dumbed down the taste to a brackish, uninteresting non-event.
Compare this stuff with Tazo English Breakfast tea; you’ll taste a hige difference. There are probably some other good E.B. teas out there, but Tazo is fairly widely available in my area. Sadly, Lipton followed the Twining trend toward mediocrity, so they’re no better.

When I want to drink a traditional tea, this is the one I grab. Its strong, smooth, with no bitter or metallic after taste. I used to drink Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea, Tea Bags, 20-Count Boxes (Pack of 6) until one day my grocer was out and I picked this up instead…wow, lucky me! Most often now I drink Bigelow Vanilla Chai Tea, 20-Count Boxes (Pack of 6) which is a black tea with delicious vanilla and other spices. But for a traditional black tea, I have found none I like better then this English Breakfast Tea.

When I gave up soda I decided I would drink only unsweetened tea without milk (to cut back on calories) and I picked this up on impulse at a local grocery store. Thus began my addiction to Twinings teas. Yes, it is more expensive than Lipton or Tetley, but it is also better.
English Breakfast is moderately strong and if you steep this for too long it will become bitter; about three minutes is perfect for me, but you may prefer stronger or weaker tea. Overall, I think the taste of Twinings loose English Breakfast tea is better than the bagged tea, but bagged tea is more convenient. Twinings English Breakfast is great both hot and chilled and the price at Amazon is quite reasonable.

If you cannot do it, or do not have the time, then I would have to agree with a number of other reviewers here that this is by far the best black or dark tea that comes in bag form. It is the one I use early in the morning when I am in a hurry. It has a great kick to it and feeds my caffeine addiction wonderfully. Now don’t take me wrong, I love coffee too and certainly drink my share of the stuff, but coffee will never replace a good cup of tea in my book. This is also the tea I take with me on camping trips and backpacking trips; a time when you really need a kick in the tail to get you going and keep you going. The flavor is excellent. In the morning I use a bit of honey and cream in mine..to each his own taste, huh. Twinings makes a good product and this is some of their best.
