Decent, but expensive
By Anthony Chiappette
I am awed at how the price of this product goes up and down, worse than a see-saw. It’s still on the expensive side, considering you must buy glasses in addition to the expensive 3D TV.
Hoever, this box set is cheaper than buying 2 pair of glasses seperately, and you get the 2 movies to boot.
I really have no complaints as to the fit and feel of the glasses. Some have complained that they are uncomfortable, I don’t find that they are. But then again, I don’t exactly have a petite nose. I use them as they were packaged, I did not use the nose pieces.
My only gripe with the glassess is the limited range – perhaps it’s the TV (Panasonic TC-P42GT25 42-Inch), but I cannot lie down while wearing the glasses, nor lower my head too much as it loses the signal and the glasses shut off. For this reason, I deduct 1 star.
The included movies were an excellent choice. I have the Blu Ray of Coraline 3D in anaglyph format, and I thought it looked pretty good, although somewhat muted. The Bluray 3D looks excellent. I haven’t yet watched Ice Age 3, but will very soon.
I think I heard (or read) somewhere that they will be including Avatar as an add in in a future version of this set. I’ll get it anyway though, if I sign up after December 1st.
Overall, the set was worth every penny, since I got the bundle deal and didn’t pay for it
I’m mostly satisfied with thie set.

Panasonic 3D glasses battery or rechargable
By SKYGUY21
We bought the Panasonic TY-EW3D10MK1 3D starter kit with the battery powered glasses to view movies on our Panasonic TCP42GT25 3D TV and Panasonic DMP-BDT100 3D Blu Ray player.
This was our second Blu Ray setup, but our first in 3D.
Soon after we also bought Panasonic’s RECHAGABLE version of the 3D glasses in the TY-EW3DMMK2 pack which included Avitar 3D. We bought these on ebay without the movie and at a good price (if you think $100 a pair is cheap).
Of the two type of glasses, both performed equaly well, but the battey version were a little lighter and felt less substantial.
The Panasonic RECHARGABLE 3D glasses felt more confortable, less flimsly and the temples helped keep unwanted light from reflecting from the side (a real plus!).
A quick word on the movies included, if you want Avitar 3D, go for the pack with it, as Panasonic has a lock on that movie and some people were paying big bucks to get it WITHOUT the glasses prior to the Holidays.
The Panasonic Blu Ray player and 3D plasma TV are top notch. The colors, definition, motion without blurring during sports all add up to the best on the market.
The DMP-BDP100 3D Blu ray player performed as well as our Sony BDP-500 but with the perk of 3D and has internet to Netflix, Twitter (if you want it), etc. The TV also has the internet feature, so you can go that route with either.
Setup was easy and if you match the units to an AV receiver, a 1.4 HDMI cable is a plus. You don’t have to spend a lot for a HDMI cable, just make sure it’s rated for the amount of data 3D requires. I ordered my cable from Amazon. $10 for 6ft. The longer the cable the greater the need to have the higher rating.
Pros: Excellent performance, high quality in Panasonic (my second Plasma from them) and a FUN expirence watching 3D.
Cons: Choose the RECHARGABLE 3D glasses for COMFORT, or the battery type if you can’t wait to recharge.

Good value for money
By Chunon
Glasses are pretty comfortable and work well. Blurays that come with the package are both great. No issue thus far with these.
