It’s still on the expensive side, considering you must buy glasses in addition to the expensive 3D TV.

Hoever, this box set is cheaper than buying 2 pair of glasses seperately, and you get the 2 movies to boot.

I really have no complaints as to the fit and feel of the glasses. Some have complained that they are uncomfortable, I don’t find that they are. But then again, I don’t exactly have a petite nose. I use them as they were packaged, I did not use the nose pieces.

My only gripe with the glassess is the limited range – perhaps it’s the TV (Panasonic TC-P42GT25 42-Inch), but I cannot lie down while wearing the glasses, nor lower my head too much as it loses the signal and the glasses shut off. For this reason, I deduct 1 star.

The included movies were an excellent choice. I have the Blu Ray of Coraline 3D in anaglyph format, and I thought it looked pretty good, although somewhat muted. The Bluray 3D looks excellent. I haven’t yet watched Ice Age 3, but will very soon.

I think I heard (or read) somewhere that they will be including Avatar as an add in in a future version of this set. I’ll get it anyway though, if I sign up after December 1st.

Overall, the set was worth every penny, since I got the bundle deal and didn’t pay for it I’m mostly satisfied with thie set.

12 of 13 people found the following review helpful.
Panasonic 3D glasses battery or rechargable
By SKYGUY21
We bought the Panasonic TY-EW3D10MK1 3D starter kit with the battery powered glasses to view movies on our Panasonic TCP42GT25 3D TV and Panasonic DMP-BDT100 3D Blu Ray player.

This was our second Blu Ray setup, but our first in 3D.

Soon after we also bought Panasonic’s RECHAGABLE version of the 3D glasses in the TY-EW3DMMK2 pack which included Avitar 3D. We bought these on ebay without the movie and at a good price (if you think $100 a pair is cheap).

Of the two type of glasses, both performed equaly well, but the battey version were a little lighter and felt less substantial.

The Panasonic RECHARGABLE 3D glasses felt more confortable, less flimsly and the temples helped keep unwanted light from reflecting from the side (a real plus!).

A quick word on the movies included, if you want Avitar 3D, go for the pack with it, as Panasonic has a lock on that movie and some people were paying big bucks to get it WITHOUT the glasses prior to the Holidays.

The Panasonic Blu Ray player and 3D plasma TV are top notch. The colors, definition, motion without blurring during sports all add up to the best on the market.

The DMP-BDP100 3D Blu ray player performed as well as our Sony BDP-500 but with the perk of 3D and has internet to Netflix, Twitter (if you want it), etc. The TV also has the internet feature, so you can go that route with either.

Setup was easy and if you match the units to an AV receiver, a 1.4 HDMI cable is a plus. You don’t have to spend a lot for a HDMI cable, just make sure it’s rated for the amount of data 3D requires. I ordered my cable from Amazon. $10 for 6ft. The longer the cable the greater the need to have the higher rating.

Pros: Excellent performance, high quality in Panasonic (my second Plasma from them) and a FUN expirence watching 3D.

Cons: Choose the RECHARGABLE 3D glasses for COMFORT, or the battery type if you can’t wait to recharge.

Blurays that come with the package are both great. No issue thus far with these.

I have had their phones/shavers/Digital Cameras/and now a Blu-ray player and I love them ALL.
2) I even absolutely love the PQ on this TV as well (barring fluctuating brightness of course).
3) I’m giving it a 1-star rating with a heavy heart but with a firm observant mind.
4) I wish I never had to write this review.

The deal breaker??? – Fluctuating brightness!!!

I have read rave reviews for this TV here/other places and I agree with them PQ-wise. But IF and only IF your set has this and you’ve noticed this you’re done. I hope this is not the case with you but it IS the case with me and few others. Not sure how many “few” people it takes to get the attention of a major manufacturer but here is my viewing experience so far. I’ve had this TV for 3.5 weeks now.

This TV tries to adjust its brightness A LOT. Majority of the time a scene changes between a dark scene to a (much) lighter scene/area – you can see the changing brightness – especially on the face, it’ll go wayyyy brighter, then back to normal. Eventually the light will be perfect/even great hue but the “switching” drives me nuts. While dark scenes themselves look great overall – I also noticed some dark/darkness adjustment even in a night scene where the light in the scene/room was off. It happens much less often but it does. The adjustment in dark scenes are not that distracting as they are less frequent/apparent. Daylight/bright scenes – another story.

I even tried to “ignore” this by telling myself – oh well no TV is perfect and let me just “live” with it but I just couldn’t. Besides – for a $2K TV to do what my $250 seven year old Sharp (CRT) TV does NOT do is simply unacceptable.

I have tried Blue ray/SD content/HD contect/netflix/regular DVDs and they all display fluctuating brightness. I grant it’s not there ALL the time but boy when it rears its ugly head (which is often) – that is ALL I watch and well that is ALL I’m watching right now – not willingly I must add. I’ve gotten the latest firmware as well.

So why just a 1-star when the PQ/blacks are great. The brightness problem is so glaring that it handily undoes the MANY good/great/outstanding qualities of this TV. Speaking of outstanding – another great thing about the TV is skin tones – oh so natural. When I was TV hunting/doing “eye test” in stores – LED always seemed to have an edge. But man – this colors/skin tones are so realistic in this TV. I do not want to take away the great PQ of this TV – in all fairness, yet at the same time I do not want to take away the undeniably distracting viewing this TV presents to me. In fact I feel like I’ve been relegated to “watching” the fluctuating brightness instead of actually enjoying the experience of this otherwise great TV. I even tried telling myself – maybe I’m “looking” for this brightness fluctuation issue but no no no – it’s THERE.

I’m at a loss to explain why Panasonic did not/does not notice this – that is – if they don’t. They need to fix it and fix it now. I BELIEVE Panasonic can and should make it right. And I still maintain it’s a great TV. I do not know if others have had the same issue or to this degree but this has been my experience. I don’t know the technical details but they *should* be able to fix this with a firmware fix. I have NOT given up on them and hence have requested Amazon for another ST30. It is a great TV otherwise but you buy a TV to enjoy the programming content, NOT distractions. Panasonic – you are the top plasma maker in the market. You guys even have the entire (former) Pioneer/Kuro team working for you. Will you please make it right!!!

When I get the new TV – I will re-evaluate and post my findings. Oh by the way Amazon was 100% helpful/quick in sending a replacement. Thanks Amazon!!!

And at 3K, it had better be!
By Leonardo Brown
Wow! My first review… OK, the set arrived Friday, 5/27/2011, delivered from Best Buy, obviously in a huge box… Its 65 inches after all… And after the Spanish speaking delivery guys mounted it on the stand, plugged it in and left me to hook it up myself at my request, I began setting up the TV.

This set comes with every possible connection that you will need to view and listen to anything that you want, it includes a WiFi adapter for your Internet applications which plugs into one of the two USB ports available and obviously, an SD card slot for viewing pictures, listening to mp3′s,3D movies etc. There is also a pc connection if you decide to go that route, but i use one of the HDMI connections for my laptop which does an exceptional job.

There are four HDMI input jacks, an optical digital audio output jack, and all the other standard inputs that you would need including a PC and a wired LAN connection.

Setting up this beast took approximately 15 minutes, after which I began looking at the digital as well as analog channels that came in on my cable system.
After setting the picture function to vivid, and backing off some of the adjustments, the thing looked superb… I also own a Panasonic vierra 50in plasma set that works like a champ, which is the reason that I went for this one, and the picture here exceeds the images I would see with the 50 inch.

I fooled around a little bit with the Internet applications, it has all the usual ones, netflix – twitter -face book etc.
It also has some games that you can play and if you want to,and you can download more apps… Some are free and some cost around 3 to 4 dollars to install in the TV. Looks nice and works as well as you might expect… My DSL connection is only 700 mbit so the quality isn’t as topnotch as it would be on a faster connection… Say FIOS or something.

I then throw in the avatar 2D bluray DVD, and that’s where this thing really shines! The set has a function in it that allows you to smooth the image. This is very useful for removing the jerkyness that you see on most televisions when things move from side to side or up and down and it gives the appearance of a very smooth and flowing image… I love this and you have the option of turning this on and off. You can see this effect on some sharp and Samsung LCD TVs… Now it’s available on plasma.. Very nice. The thing is maybe about an inch thick front to back so when you view it from the side you can barely even see it… And then as you step outwards from the side of it, you start to see all of the picture with no color degradation or reduction in brightness that you get with LCD TVs, so viewing angles aren’t a problem.
This is one of the clear reasons for me buying a plasma TV. And the black levels, as promised, are infinitely black! I viewed it in a completely darkened room and contrast levels are amazing… when the screen goes black, you couldn’t see anything in the room except for the red light on the television.

The set is 3D ready but you’ll need to buy 3D bluray player and the special Panasonic active shutter 3D glasses that you have to purchase separately… Another $400 or so for those additions… So for now I can’t comment on the 3D functionality of this set.. But I am sure that it is beautiful because everything else looks great on this titanic screen.

My son has seen it and is bugging me about getting the 3D glasses so that he can see how avatar looks in 3D so maybe there will be an addition to this long review coming soon. Kudos to Panasonic.. I love it!

5/29/11-I forgot to mention the one BIG negative that i have with this set, that is the speaker system within the tv,they SUCK!They sound like something you would find in say a 19″television,thin and tiny…its kinda weird that my 50″speakers seem to sound better than these but i guess that the thinking is with a screen this big,you will be using an external surround system anyway, as i do,so there’s that.It also comes with a very well-lit,when the light button is pressed, remote control. There are many more things this set can do,you’ll have to get one and play with it to check them out,

Goel
RESEARCH:
After doing research for months, I ended up buying the 65ST30 from Amazon for $2050 last month. I’m a first time Plasma buyer, so researched QUITE a bit into this technology. I was surprised how far Plasmas have come along. I used to think they don’t have a long life, or are an outdated technology. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I also looked at the GT and the VT series, but VT was out of the question due to ridiculous pricing, and the picture quality of GT didn’t look any different than ST30 at the local best-buy. GT does have a smaller bezel though, and is more attractive looking.

Also, after reading several reviews and talking to people on AVS forum – I found out GT has bigger issues with floating blacks and brightness fluctuations, so decision was rather easy. ST30 was the one to get.

CALIBRATION:
After I got the set, I used the D-Nice’s settings/slides to prep the set for his calibration (available online). You don’t have to do this, even using his calibrated settings looked pretty good out of the box – but I went through his recommended process, to get the best possible image. If you have the patience, I’ll recommend using his entire process. It’s worth it.

PICTURE QUALITY:
After inputting the settings provided by D-Nice (and some of my tweaks) the picture quality was simply breathtaking. I was just amazed how natural the image looked. I was told this is the biggest advantage of going Plasma over LED, and at first I wasn’t sure if I’ll see much difference – but now I’m sold.

I bought a 2011 LG LED TV just few months ago, and this Plasma is much better. I compared them next to each other, and it’s not close. Not only you get true natural colors with Plasma, you get very deep blacks and no motion blur. Can’t wait to watch some football on this beautiful set. I was somewhat worried about floating blacks – but no issues with this set. Watched a few Blu-Ray movies on it – and was blown away by the size of the TV and the fine picture quality. The TV speakers aren’t great, but aren’t bad either. I plan to buy a sound-bar at some point though.

FEATURES:
a) 3D – I’m not a big fan of 3D (not yet at least) but 3D is pretty damn good on this tv. Better than any other set I’ve come across. But, 3D image has always given me a head-ache, so I avoid using 3D.
b) Online services – Basic applications are there, such as Netflix, Amazon videos, Youtube. User-Interface is very simple to use and is intuitive. I mostly use these services through the Blu-Ray player anyway. You can play videos or view pictures through SD slot or USB drive or DNLA server (connecting to your PC through wireless).
c) Viera Connect – I love this feature. After I bought this TV, I also purchased a Panasonic Blu-Ray player and with Viera Connect, you can easily sync up the device with your TV and use the TV remote to control the player. Simple idea which makes a LOT of sense.
d) Remote Control – I’ve not said this in a while, but I absolutely love the remote control that comes with this TV. It is also back-lit, which is helpful at night. Again, very simple and intuitive.

CONS:
I have yet to find anything wrong with this set. But, I must say – no TV is perfect. LEDs have their issues and Plasmas have their issues. I was aware of basic issues with Plasma’s – so nothing caught me off-guard. I’ll advise everyone to research these issues beforehand, or ask me if you have questions. These are small issues to deal with, nothing major but one must be aware of them.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Another thing I’ll advise everyone interested in buying a Plasma – don’t go by what you see at your local store. If you have to compare at the store, compare Plasma TV with Plasma TV – not with LEDs. Plasma TVs need to be set-up according to your room and lighting. If not set correctly, Plasmas are likely to look pale and dull. To get the picture to pop-out and look accurate at the same time (something LEDs struggle with), you really need to mess with the settings. As mentioned before, google for D-Nice’s settings – he is a professional calibrator who has shared his settings. Of course, you still have to tweak your settings – but it gives you a great starting point. Also head over to AVS forum where you can find more setting options and figure out what works best for you.

I’ve had this TV for a month, and so far, it has been one of the best TVs I’ve ever purchased. Since then, I’ve purchased a 50ST30 as well for my bed-room and am just as pleased with that set. When you factor in the price (for 65ST30 or 50ST30), I doubt you can find a better deal out there. I looked at the Samsung Plasmas (which are skinnier) and look great as well. In the end, Panasonic is a more renowned brand when it comes to Plasmas and are still a step or two ahead when it comes to black levels and over-all quality. Also, Samsung has very poor customer service – which made the decision for me.

Choosing a wall mount for your tv can be a little overwhelming at first. However if you break it down the decision is a lot easier.

First you need to make sure that your TV is VESA compatible. A quick glance at your owner’s manual should give you the answer.

Second you need to make sure you get a VESA TV wall mount that is designed for the size of TV you have. So if you have a 42” LCD or plasma then make sure your mount supports that size.

Third and probably most important is getting a VESA wall mount that supports the weight of your TV. This is especially important if you have a plasma tv because they tend to be heavier. None of us want to see our totally awesome flat screen in shambles because it fell off the wall.

Forth, you need to consider if you want any movement to your wall mounted LCD or Plasma. You can get VESA wall mounts that allow your flat screen to tilt or swivel. Each has its advantages, which I discuss on this page.

Low Profile TV Wall Mounts

Low profile mounts are very popular right now because they keep your cables disguised very well and keep allow you to show off the sleekness of your flat screen by letting it hug the wall with so that there is no visible space between he tv and the wall. We here highly recommend this mount. We especially like this option if the TV is mounted on a wall that is has no closed corners. So when you walk into the room you see the edge of the flat screen seductively close to the wall.

You spent all that money on an ultra thin flat screen you should show it off!

Tilt TV Wall Mounts

If you are looking for a wall mount that is flat and offers some flexibility the Tilting Wall Mount is also a good option to consider when choosing a wall bracket mounting system. The Tilting Wall Mount allows the TV to be mounted flush to the wall in addition to being tilted up (or down if desired) at no more than a 15 degree angle. This is a good choice to consider if you need to mount your flat screen TV high on the wall. Think of a flat screen TV in a waiting room of a doctor’s office quite high up. The titling down of the TV will allow the TV to be mounted high on the wall along with being easily accessible for everyone’s eyes no matter where they are sitting in the room. This is also a good mount to consider if there is a lot of sunlight in the room as a slight tilt downward will eliminate the light reflections to your specifications.

Swivel TV Wall Mounts

Swivel VESA wall mounts are some times referred to as articulating mounts and are specifically designed for people looking to have the flexibility of moving the tv so it can be viewed from different parts of a room. Some Swivel mounts can swing 180 degrees, which allows you to potentially swing the TV around a wall into another room. The down side of these TV wall mounts is that the stick out farther from the wall because they need the space for the three connecting arms to fold up.

Hamilton
My wife and I just made our first foray into a 50″ widescreen plasma, and decided to go the extra mile and wall mount it. I’m not that handy, but can handle easy projects.
It turns out that mounting our tv on the wall was not hard at all. The instructions were clear, and the fact that the kit came with several different sets of bolts etc. depending on your tv helped a lot. It’s also great that the kit came with masonry parts just in case we need to do that in the future.
The hardest part was making sure we found the studs and that the mount was level. Overall it took under an hour to do it all, and we took our time. The mount itself is very sturdy, and my wife loves that she can swivel it towards the kitchen when she’s cooking.

When I called Panasonic to check on the length of the screws to use, they recommended 15mm which were not included with the mount. After checking the depth of the holes in the back of the TV, I found that 20mm would be sufficient to hold the TV without being deep enough to touch any components inside the TV. So I bought 20mm bolts from H.Depot. The mount was very easy to fix to the wall and it easily holds the 50″ plasma. The only issue that bothers me, is that there seems to be no provision for stopping lateral movement of the TV in the event of an earthquake. The two vertical screws that stop the TV coming foreward off the back plate certainly will not stop it moving sideways. I bought a set of two aluminium window anti-slide devices and fixed them to the top flange of the back plate after centering the TV so it cannot move sideways easily. They cost only a few dollars.
Be sure to level the back plate before hanging your TV on it. (This process is nicely explained in the instructions and is very easy to accomplish).
We have an L shaped lounge/dining area. The TV is mounted in the adjoining corner on a 5 foot wide 45-degree angled wall. It’s great to be able to swivel the TV so it can be seen from either room.
All-in-all, this mount is very solid, easy to install and looks nice. The great price is a huge plus. We saw similar mounts at Best Buy for $300+.

A. Kettlewell
I needed a wall mount that would swivel in all directions and still be stable for my 32″ Panasonic Viera. I got this yesterday & thought that due to it’s inherent weight, it would be difficult to put up & hard to deal with… wrong! I marked the studs, drilled 4 holes, got my DeWalt driver out for the 4 lag bolts, put it over my shoulder and ran the bolts into place. Next four screws to the back of the TV, hung it immediately on the hooks, adjusted the set screws and I can tilt, swivel pull out, shove back the TV as easy as you could wish. I says it can handle up to 50″ and I believe it. there are spacers for mounting a rounded back flat screen as well & as long as you get the bolts well embedded in the stud, it could easily handle a large plasma TV. The mounting strips for the TV back have holes aplenty to fit most any brand flat screen… Obviously I am very pleased with it & readily give it 5 stars!

If you are looking for the dietary heal for acne, you must be prepared to note a lot of technicalities that go into the formation of the acne scars in our body. Diet plays an instrumental effect in our body. This is why you need to modify your diet in order to stay fit and healthful naturally. It is primary in this context to do not forget that diet is just one of the main constituents in acne cure. It is not the end however. Studies that were performed in the late 60s and 70s, believed that acne is caused by poor diet, but those principles have been rendered obsolete by recent research.

Diet Influences Acne Breakout

Diet oftentimes gives rise to difficulties in the blood sugar. The swinging of blood sugar levels results in a hormonal reaction it may stir number of reactions such as: intensified production of sebum, and lumps of dead skin cells or more dead skin cells. In other words, dietary irregularities may give rise to blocked pores. Blood sugar may be caused by the consumption of too much fat.

Once you consume a meal that has high amounts of fat, the insulin receptors in the cells are blocked thereby enhances insulin resistance. Foods that have high a glycemic index lead to a sharp rise in the levels of sugar in the blood. Moreover, consuming more calories than are required by the body likewise leads to sugar increases.

The other cause of acne breakouts is inflammation. Too much of inflammation weakens the immunity power of people and causes bacteria to influence the skin. Inflammation may be caused by feed allergies, free radicals and toxins and chemicals present in foods. Carbohydrates are also said to lead to acne.

The Dietary Cure for Acne

You may always heal acne by regulating your diet. Curing the body of acne with a regular diet is something that you will have to take care about. This method has 2 purposes: sustaining the stable levels of sugar in the blood, and reduction of inflammation. You may maintain adequate blood sugar levels by taking foods that are low in fat and high in fiber. The high fiber foods slow down the rate of absorption of sugar and helps remainder the levels of blood sugar. This is why, fruits that comprise fiber are considered as the dietary heal for acne because they do not lead to sudden leaps in your blood sugar levels.

Reduce Inflammation

Go for the anti inflammatory foods and take in lots of antioxidants. Antioxidants are used by the body for combating the free radicals. With the body being devoid of antioxidants, less of inflammation is triggered. The best foods to consume include vegetables and fruits. Foods that have high levels of Omega 3 fatty acids and other necessary elements are highly commended as they fight inflammation and the free radicals. The good foods in this category include flax seeds, and fatty fishes like salmon.

Diet Rules for Acne Cure

•	Eat whole foods naturally. These incorporate fruits and vegetables.

•	Don’t go for processed foods which have high chemicals, but low nutrition and fiber.

•	Keep the oils low.

These are a lot of of the rules that will support reduce the incidence of acne. You may even get rid of dietary complications. Diet is not the final solution of treating acne. It is part of the overall condition of acne cure.

The Dietary Cure For Acne

While acne has long been a problem for adolescents, in recent decades – the last fifty years specifically – acne has been on the rise amidst adults as well, exceptionally amidst women. Many scientists have traced his upsurge to changes in the dietary habits of North Americans.

The Clear Skin Diet is designed to aid those who suffer from acne to understand:

  What it is

Why they have it

What it has to do with their eating habits

And what they may do to prevent it or lessen it is impact

Modern exploration shows:

That there is a strong causal connection amidst sure kinds of foods and acne.

That sure fats, such as omega-3 fatty acids, protect versus acne, while others, completely filled or trans fats, may publicize acne by increasing the level of inflammation and oxidative stress in the skin.

Culinary herbs like ginger and turmeric are known to dampen acne breakouts.

These same dietary stresses also influence the level of the hormones that cause acne. While fruits and vegetables, green tea, soy, fish, berries, and fiber-rich whole foods lessen these androgens, meat and milk publicize these acne-related hormones, as do sugar and low-fiber carbohydrates.

There also is a strong causal connection amongst the brain and the skin. When a person experiences anxiety and depression, acne-producing hormones are released, which may lead to poor dietary selections high in completely filled fats and sugars.

The Clear Skin Diet introduces the acne diet and lifestyle. Dietary requirements for protecting the skin are listed – along with suggested feed supplements when they cannot be without apparent effort met – and summarized, as well as mind-body medical interventions that may influence acne hormones and lessen their impact. Also included are 50 acne-preventive recipes, along with data on how one may locate the ingredients that are not readily available in most grocery stores.

Zampino
This is arguably the most important book on skin care in the last decade. It is not about hearsay, old wives tales etc, and it is not based on opinion or testimonials it is about scientific advances that have clearly shown that diet and acne are linked beyond any doubt. In addition to the updated diet and acne research from Harvard, Australia and other centres, there are some 300 scientific references in the back to support the connections. I thought it was an interesting combination of authors, a naturopathic doctor and a conventional dermatologist, and this seems to pay off for the reader. The chapters provide scientific explanations for why sugar, milk and so-called bad fats can promote acne. On the other hand, they also describe why whole grains, fibre, antioxidants, omega-3 fish oil and green tea can help acne. The authors provide shaded boxes for some specific anti-acne nutrients like zinc, selenium and some others, and they explain why acne patients may need more of these nutrients and where they can be found in foods. I liked the stress-acne chapter, how stress influences dietary choices, and the guidance on stress management was appropriate. This book should be in every high school library and the waiting room of every dermatologist’s office.

I find it very unfortunate that the American Academy of Dermatology has continued to perpetuate the myth that diet is not linked to acne. As someone who has made the choice to lead a healthier lifestyle, I was essentially following this diet for the past several months before I even read the book. I could see wonderful changes in my skin in addition to other changes (lost 30 lbs, was no longer tired and achy). I no longer had monthly flare-ups of the female adult acne, no longer had a drab complexion. People told me my skin seemed to “glow” and that my skin looked like an ad for an Oil of Olay commercial. I was no longer dependent on the latest and greatest topical treatment from the big pharma.

So far, I like what I see. I also own a Kindle 3 so that’s the only device I can really compare it to at this time (I think a comparison between other tablets and this Kindle is meaningless, this device is all about content and delivery):

Why does our society seem to seek each way to win a victory over sickness and impairment of normal physiological function other than looking in the best Instruction Manual that’s been around for thousands of years? Why do we stay clear from the simplicity of the fundamental principle when it comes to our health? The “basics” I refer to are eating healthful foods, getting regular exercise and adequate sleep.

Of course, the best instruction manual I am referring to is the Bible and there ought to be hundreds of books out there educating us on the importance of adequate exercise and sleep. Yes, there are scads of books on what to eat, too, but if they tell you to eat something that seems to contradict what the Bible says is OK, you in all likelihood will have to do a good deal of severe exploration before incorporating it into a regular eating plan.

There are in truth a lot of diet/eating plans being promoted that in the long run, may not be very healthy. What a shame if you lose weight, for example, and then have a heart attack because you were eating way too much meat or didn’t get adequate nutrition.

Do I even need to mention a good deal of things you must plainly stay clear from if you want to experience optimal health? Folks, as much as I hate to list anything, this is what I see around me in abundance: fried foods, sugar in just with regards to everything it seems, artificial sweeteners, meals heavy in meats with few vegetables and fruits, almost all cooked, (very little raw foods), and diet drinks.

The foods listed in this report are by no means all the “healthy” foods cited in the Bible. They should, however, provide you with a lot of guidance in your feed choices.

1. Apples. Song of Solomon. Apples are considered to be the “all around health food.” They are high in flavonoids, fiber and Vitamin C. Some of the apple’s healing powers include:

A. They lower both bad cholesterol and high blood pressure

B. The juices in apples are highly effective virus fighters

C. They aid stabilize blood sugar, an indispensable element in controlling diabetes

D. They suppress the appetite without robbing the body of necessary nutrients

E. Depending on the need, they prevent constipation or support treat diarrhea

One caution: conventionally grown apples may be highly sprayed with pesticides and coated with wax. Purchase organically grown apples when possible.

2. Barley. Deuteronomy 8:8, Ezekiel 4:9. Barley’s high fiber content may aid keep us regular, relieve constipation and ward off a wide potpourri of digestive problems. It likewise may help block cancer. Barley is full of beta glucans, a type of fiber that may lower the peril of heart disease by reducing the levels of artery-clogging LDL.

3. Coriander (Cilantro). When the children of Israel wandered in the desert and received manna from the sky, they described it as looking like coriander seed. Since then coriander has been called “the healer from heaven.” Coriander is commended for indigestion, flatulence (excessive gas) and diarrhea. Externally, it’s employed to ease muscle and joint pain. Recently, scientists begun looking at coriander as an anti-inflammatory treatment for arthritis. Other exploration has demonstrated that it reduces blood sugar levels, an indication that it may prove to be a utile sugar management tool for diabetics.

4. Fish. Luke 24:42-43. Fish is low in cholesterol and holds healthful polyunsaturated fats. Fish is a rich source of protein, potassium, vitamins and solid homogeneous inorgani substances with only a moderate amount of sodium. Eating fish:

The key to the healing powers of fish lies in the omega-3 fatty acids. These are specially concentrated in cold-water fish such as anchovies, bluefish, herring, lake trout, mackerel, sable fish, whitefish, flue fin tuna, salmon and sardines. Note: in settling amid “healthy” and “unhealthy” fish, you may get specific instruction from Lev. 11:9. Eat only fish which have both fins and scales.

5. Garlic. One of the world’s oldest healing foods. By the time of Moses, garlic was already being used as an anticoagulant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor agent, as well as a relief for flatulence, a diuretic, a sedative, a poultice and as a heal for internal parasites. Research proposes that garlic may help protect versus heart impairment of normal physiological function and stroke by letting down blood pressure. It holds allylic sulfides, which may neutralize carcinogens. In fact, garlic has been linked to lower rates of stomach cancer, too. It is heart-friendly, with scores of studies showing it is astonishing capacity to fight hypertension, prevent blood clots and lower cholesterol.

6. Fruits, Berries, Grapes. Numbers 13:23, II Samuel 16:1-2. Grapes were the firstborn thing Noah planted after the flood. Grapes were eaten fresh, dried and eaten as raisins just as we do today, and pressed into cakes. However, most of the crop of the vineyards was made into juice, wine and vinegar. A cup of raw grapes holds only 58 calories, 0.3 grams of fat, zero cholesterol and vitamins A, B and C. Grapes likewise incorporate indispensable solid homogeneous inorgani substances such as boron, calcium, potassium and zinc.

Grapes may be helpful in preventing osteoporosis, fighting tooth decay, heading off cancer and fighting off viruses. Other health-giving fruits include figs, melons, and pomegranates.

* Onions possess a strong antibiotic that kills a potpourri of bacteria

* Have been applied externally as an antiseptic and a pain reliever

11. Wheat. Jeremiah 41:8, Ezekiel 4:9. Wheat was the “staff of life.” Biblical persons ate their grain boiled and parched, soaked and roasted, and even ate it green from the stalk. It was pounded, dried or crushed to be baked into casseroles, porridges, soups, parched grain salads and desserts. Ezekiel’s bread was intended to be a survival feed for the duration of the dark days of the Babylonion conquest because it contained wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt. Wheat bran is high in insoluble fiber. The fiber protects us versus constipation. It helps prevent intestinal infections, hemorrhoids and varicose veins. It also improves bowel function and guards us versus colon cancer.

12. Wine. I Timothy 5:23. John 4:46. Making wine from grapes is one of the most ancient arts and the beverage of choice in the Bible. According to Genesis, one of the original things Noah did after the flood was plant a vineyard so he could make wine. Researchers are now rediscovering what the physicians of the Bible knew centuries ago. In moderation, wine has a unfathomed affect on our health and healing. Just a single glass of wine a day may be sufficient to raise the good cholesterol by 7% and aid the body put up a barrier to a potpourri of cancers.

Wine appears to support stop heart impairment of normal physiological function and cancer. A study at the University of Ottawa in Canada concluded that there is a clear link amidst wine consumption and lower rates of heart disease. Countries where more than 90% of alcohol is consumed in the form of wine have the lowest rate of heart sickness deaths.

A British study of 100 men and women ran into that a single glass of wine or sherry daily increased the HDL or good cholesterol. When the group abstained from drinking wine, the HDL level decreased.

Red wine likewise seems to increase the body’s defenses versus cancer. White wine may carry a lot of of the same therapeutic benefits, but exploration so far seems to indicate that red wine is the most effective cancer blocker. Note: be sure to drink only in moderation. Ephesians 5:18.

As you may see, the Bible lists a lot of foods, foods that are actually available to us today, that we could be consuming to prevent illness, severe sicknesses and some trips to the doctor. Good health is not that difficult, but you do have to work at it a bit. It’s a remainder of what you eat, exercise, sleep, avoiding stress, taking vitamin supplements. And strange as it may seem, the Bible is in truth a finish instruction Manual for all of this.

In conclusion, the 12 healing foods listed here are only a partial list of healing foods found in the Bible. However, this report provides plenteous proof that God has placed on this earth, some health-giving foods for our consumption. A person who makes a severe crusade to every day eat some of these health-giving foods, while avoiding health-destroying foods, surely may suppose to reap the gains of a more salubrious body.

E. Stephens
I bought this to see what it was all about. It offered very good advice about alternative treatments for high cholesterol. My doctor had reccommended some of the same supplements. The side effects of these supplements were not as bad as the standard drug treatment.

Of course you should check with your doctor on this. It might be a good idea to buy you doctor a copy of this book.
