Awesome Service

I purchased this item through Amazon but, from a different dealer. I started having problems with the unit when using the body brush within a couple of months of purchase. It would lose it’s charge after about a minute, the body cycle is suppose to last 3 minutes. Finally, I just started using the facial brush exclusively, I get occasional cystic acne and the Clarisonic was doing a great job clearing it up and stopping the outbreaks. Alas, the unit charge kept depleting over time, within 9 months of purchase, after letting it charge for a week it would die within seconds of me pushing the power button. I am one of those people that never fills out the warranty card, so, I figured I was totally hosed and was stuck with a $200.00 paper weight. However, I took the chance and called Clarisonic’s customer service, they asked me what the problem was, had me read the serial number off the unit, told me I had a two year warranty on the Plus model and shipped me the new one, asked me to mail the defective one back using the prepaid label. I received it within a week and a half. I live in Hawaii, so, that’s actually quite impressive. My skin is happy again and all is right in my world. Thank you Clarisonic Support Team. You Rock!

A MUST HAVE!!!

I purchased this same product from Ebay (sorry Amazon!) and I LOVE it! I use it every week and cannot say enough good things about this kit. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. My face feels and looks so clean week after week. I even use other face cleaners instead of the ones provided and still get a good result. You get what you pay for! Highly recommended.

I love love my Clarisonic Plus Skin Care System & Spot Therapy Kit. You get an instant glow the first time you use it. The set comes with the sensitive head brush and the body brush. The sensitive head brush works fine but for a more aggressive cleanse, I have ordered the normal head brushes also from Amazon. Another thing I like about the set is that it comes with 3 different cleansers travel sizes,and you can try to see which one works better with your skin type. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product and thanks to Amazon I was able to get it for a much better price than other places.

it’s good, but “Industrial Strength”?

Had read a great review on Jack Black Industrial Strength Hand Healer in a magazine, and with a woodworking, cracked hands husband, it seemed a natural purchase. I bought 2 tubes, so he’d have instant access. Well, he’s used it diligently for a few weeks now, and we’re not seeing any HEALING, which is exactly what’s needed for the cracks in his hands. I’m sorry to say I haven’t found a magic potion here.

Use it after washing dishes – Works great

Works great. Really restores hands. After washing dishes I use it since I don’t use gloves. Keeps my hands like I don’t wash dishes.

Hands feel a bit slippery for about 10 minutes after use. Refrain from using touch-devices and/or maybe keyboard or mouse. Will leave things a bit “slippery” and product will transfer from hands to object. Wait 10 minutes to fully absorb product.

Don’t recommend using before brushing teeth or shower. Don’t wash hand for 20 minutes after apply will become more slippery.

This is probably the single best hand moisturizer I’ve ever used.
Even though I take excellent care of my skin, like most people my hands are a challenge.
Unlike hand creams with shea butter, (which is a great ingredient, but never seems to completely absorb), this moisturizer leaves absolutely no residue. It absorbs completely, alleviates dryness, and instantly makes my hands soft. I especially like that it it does not irritate sensitive skin. I highly recommend it to anyone with dry hands.
It is a bit pricey, but you only need a little and it lasts until you wash it off.
Truly, this is a great hand cream.

This product is one of the best things I’ve ever bought for myself… It does exactly what it says: cleans your skin better than you ever thought you could, mildly exfoliates, and just makes your skin look fabulous. I can also tell it is softening my fine lines on my forehead (which are just starting). Once you use a clarisonic, you’ll never go back to washing your face the regular way. I really like the Pro better than the one my friend bought awhile ago, b/c I changed it to a two minute timer b/c I have very oily skin, and I also like to be able to customize the speed (high after the gym, normal on a regular day). A FANTASTIC buy… a must for anyone who is looking for a boost to their facial skin. Plus, if you buy the spot attachment, you can use it on rough places like your upper chest, elbows, and knees (it has a special speed built in for body areas).

INVESTMENT

Think of how much $ you’ve spent over the years on cleansers, scrubbers, etc…think about it, seriously think about it..b/c after using this product, it made me think of how much I’ve wasted and should have spent it on this product. WHY you ask…No matter how expensive/cheap/raved about cleanser I’ve used, nothing really cleaned my face. It would either dry it up, leave some type of a residue, or just irritated my skin. After years of trial and error, I gave up, and stuck to good ol fashion water and oil of olay. I’m blessed with good skin, but I still have my problem areas. I got this as a gift. VERY GLAD I did.

I was skeptical. I was hesitant and kinda scoffed at the idea that a rotating brush could do much for me. I felt my skin before I used the product, pretty darn smooth. I tested it after I used the product – wow, it made my before skin feel like sand paper. I just knew that it cleaned out buildup of product (makeup, cleanser, lotion, whatever) because my skin actually GLOWED. I used the standard 2 minutes function on my t-zone. It really buffed away some spots that had raised bumps before. Pretty insane b/c I really didn’t think I need this product. I could only imagine what it could do for people who have problematic skin.

So all the products i’ve bought/used before couldn’t even come close…made me feel like I did waste a lot of money.

What else do iI like about the Pro vs. the Mia – the 4 speed rules – only because I want it. I end up using the standard speed a lot for me face. It also seems like the handle is a little bit bigger than the regular model. I don’t think the Clarisonic cleaners that it comes with are all that fabulous. My skin feels a little bit drier than when I use some other stuff – I recommend you use your own cleansers (as long as it doesn’t have exfoliants in it. If it does, then take the brush off the machine after each use to clean it out – or it will cause build up. I like that there are grooves under the brushes so water can flow out and not stay stagnant in the machine. The design of the handle is ergonomic and comfortable to use. I would suggest making it lighter – when you’re using the body brush, it gets to be a little heavy after a few runs.

I like the brush head that it comes with. Great for sensitive skin, great at all modes of the machine (I use the Pro mode for m t-zone and chin – my problem areas) – about once a week. I use it every other day on the normal speed. And alternate with the body brush.

What I find most valuable – BODY BRUSH! This is what really hit me. I’ve tried different types of brushes and exfoliants, but my skin just wasn’t baby soft. I’ve spent $ at spas doing a full body scrub. Yeh, my skin is silky smooth awesome, but it only lasts for a few days, then I feel a few dry spots here and there. Not anymore!!! Dry spots GONE. Skin Smooth. It’s amazing. What I spent for 2 body scrubs = this machine. It makes me happy. PLUS this has cleared up dry spots that body scrubs have missed – the back of my thighs and upper arms. My skin is like butter now.

BRUSHES – find some online -there are deals out there.

good product

The benefits of this product can be seen immediately. You will experience softer, smoother skin after the first use and your face will really look and feel squeaky clean. My pimples don’t last as long (sometimes disappear in less than 24 hours which never happened before), and my expensive skin care products are more effective. The real reason for the purchase was a bunch of blackheads on my chin and they are diminishing in quantity. Also they are more brown now than black which I could see after using a Biore strip. Hopefully they will eventually disappear. I recommend this product.

Fantastic device – pick your Kindle!

good but too bulky

i got this actually just for the lancet because i don’t like this kind of comedone extractor, i’d prefer the wire loop type.

for the lancet, it’s great. it’s very sharp and finely made. it has a right angle bend intended for easier use, but it makes using the lancet harder because it’s hard to angle my hand to aim the lanset at my blackheads.

i also tried to use the remover just to try it out. it is way to thick and makes it a little hard to use.

overall, the product is well made in terms of materials. it also comes with a little holder that is pretty classy. its holding part has good traction to hold too. but it is just too bulky to for me to use it effectively and to aim accurately on my face because of its weight. it’d be nice if it’s a little lighter.

Lancet is great, extractor is not so good

Lancet is great, it’s sharp and the angle is also very nice. Material seems good. One of the best I’ve ever used.
But the extractor is a little weird. The center hole is small but the part is so big so it’s hard to use. So I give 3 stars.

This tool is so cool. I’ve only used it once, but it’s a great design. Worked wonderfully. Took care of my pimple w/ minimum trauma to the skin. Love the design and very good quality. Comes in a nice little pink leather sleeve for storing.

Great product

This product really deep cleans your skin giving you a glow after use and gives you really soft skin. I use it every other day mixed with the refreshing gel cleanser. It doesn’t dry out my skin either (I have combination skin). I’ve always struggled with acne issues, but not since I have switched to this regime.

The only negative I have for this product is when I use it will my clarisonic brush I get the tiny exfoliants in my eyes sometimes so I like to take out my contacts before use.

Lacks an Automatic Float Charging System

This unit should provide the capacity needed to jump start most cars. However, there are a few things to note:

1. This unit does not have an automatic float charging system. This means you can’t just leave it plugged in & expect it to maintain a full charge. Instead, you must periodically unplug it and replug it in (at least every few months). If you forget, you will not only not have a charged unit when you need it, but, the battery can become damaged as well if left to fully discharge. Chargers costing as little as $20 have this feature; There’s no reason to exclude it on a unit like this.

2. This unit does not include a power cord. Instead, you will need to use an extension cord; it needs to be a single dongle version because of the design of the unit.

3. This unit does not include a storage compartment. Not a big deal, but, if you have some accessories you want to tote (like a power cord or inflation needle), you won’t have a convenient place to store it.

I’ve also had two PowerStation units. One died within a year and the other still works (I think). Time will tell how the Stanley stacks up.

Worth its weight in gold

…and that’s saying a lot, since this thing is so heavy.
I haven’t used all the features, but I recently had a electrical problem in my car. The alternator was draining my battery, and I had to unplug it every time. I got the jump starter after my car was fixed, but then I forgot to turn my lights off two days later. This thing jumped my car just fine.
I also have a lot of problems with my tires in the winter, air slowly leaks out of one of my tires. This will come in handy then, as well. It’ll save me a couple bucks going to the gas station to fill up air.

Pros: It works. Lots of features, including a cigarette lighter charger, USB charger, and air compressor for your tires. Easy to carry with the handle up top.

Cons: Heavy, it takes a long time to charge (15-19 hrs), and you’ll need an extension cord to charge it.
