Works for me

I am 53 and I was having horrible hot flashes and night sweats- I did not know the back of your knees could sweat! I went to my GYN and received a Rx for hormones but decided to try black cohash/soy and it has worked well. I shared the info with a coworker and she has had equal success. I wish I had tried this before I filled my perscription. I ran out of the EstroSoy and decided to see if the hot flashes returned and they did with a bang. I do not plan to run out again.
It took about a week for the hot flashes / night sweats to abate.
I think it is certainly worth trying.

Not recommended

Ok, I am all for colon cleansing. I try to get colonics once a month, pocketbook permitting. Alas, this time of year, money is tight, so at a friend’s suggestion, I bought the Super Cleanse. Day One, I took the 4 pills morning and night. Nothing happened. Day 2, I took the morning dose (4 pills) By noon time, I was running to the bathroom every 10 minutes or so for a few hours. NOT fun. I was at work. I stopped the dosing and started investigating Senna. By most accounts, that were not advertising a product, recommended doses seemed to be FAR under what Super Colon Cleanse recommends. Several site said Senna was toxic in high doses. Seems that anything over 20-40mgs is considered overdosing. Super Colon Cleanse is 576mg and then 3 times a day! So… yeah, it may
be natural. So are a lot of herbs that are considered toxic. Btw… a product that my naturalpath prescribes does contain some senna, mixed in with other herbs and I have never had a reaction to it. My guess is that the 576mgs
is pretty intense, expecially for someone that has a colon that is more or less, in good shape, due to proper diet
and regular colonics. Think I will pass on this product…… and stick to a healthier alternative. Proper food combining, pro-biotics, and the occasional food enzymes and regular colonics.

Works as a laxative (although natural)

I would like to like this product, it always seem to have really high reviews everywhere, and I can get it at trusty and cheap ol’ Trader Joes (grocery store). But unfortunately I cannot take it cause after 1-2 days I can’t keep anything solid in my body. It contains something called Senna which works as a natural laxative. The dosage is pretty high, 4 capsules 3 times a day. I have tried taking half of that and it was still too potent. I think I might try their regular colon cleanse product which only contains Psyllium powder.

Waste of money

If you’re looking for something to cleanse the colon then look elsewhere. As noted on the bottle this product is for people looking to add extra fiber to their diet. Taking 12 pills a day with extra iron is a waste and could be hazardous to your health. These pills did nothing for me and you’re better off just taking fiber pills. Don’t bother with this one.

Used only once, but I feel better than I have for a year

I have been on synthetic thyroid replacement for 22 years and this pill was an experiment after having read the literature on natural glandular supplementation versus synthetic T4 replacement alone. I’ve been feeling tired and run down this past year to the point of sitting and doing nothing, but hey I’m a post-menopausal older gal so there are lots of possibilities of why I felt tired. I took this pill with meal yesterday morning. I had had my usual dose of thyroid medication earlier that a.m.

Organic Thyroid

These capsules for low thyroid come from sheep raised organically in New Zealand. They seem to be helping me much more than the synthetic and Armour (from pork) tablets that doctors prescribed for me a number of years ago. They are also quite reasonable. I am almost 60 and can work for long hours because of these and other natural supplements I take.

Raw thyroid is sensational

I was bedridden with chronic fatigue and severe pain in my joints and muscles. My weight was rising even though my eating regimen hadn’t changed to justify the weight gain.

I felt I was in a constant fog, couldn’t think, and felt depressed even though I had nothing to be depressed about.

I remembered when I had surgery a decade ago, my thyroid levels had decreased and the Dr. recommended thyroid supplement. As I was doing some research about the thyroid supplements available I happened upon raw thyroid. After using raw thyroid for 3 days, I felt a noticeable difference in my body, mind, attitude and physical capability. Additionally my mental clarity is improving.

The only recommendation I have is that you take the dosage consistently otherwise you feel the symptoms returning.

I recommend this product to anyone suffering from symptoms of hypothyroidism.

Foods are not fortified with these sterols to help lower the levels of LDL or bad cholesterol in persons with high total cholesterol levels. Margarines such as Benecol and orange juice are fortified with sterols. Oatmeal and bran comprise soluble fibers that reduce the bad cholesterol and keep arteries clear. Other foods such as apples, Brussels sprouts, and prunes comprise soluble fibers that prevent absorption of cholesterol.

Fiber supplements that integrate psyllium aid to lower artery clogging cholesterol when taken on a every day basis. These supplements come in wafers, powder, flavored mixes and tablets. We don’t standard get sufficient fiber so these supplements are okay to increase our LDL letting down benefit.

It appears this product contains Omega’s, but no where on the package does it state it’s ORAC value. The ORAC value is what most people are looking for in an Acai product. It doesn’t blend too well with liquid. I won’t be buying this product again. The shipping was fast and I would recommend the seller, just not the product.

Quality is inconsistent

I have brought these few times, the first bottle that we have received seems to mix well, also the taste was good , but the next 2 bottles were not as good as the first one. It seems to be a hit or miss if you buy this product it might come out good or bad. These powder seems to come in two different packaging one is purple and other is green, I tried both and they seems to taste bad. BTW also tried perfect acai which is costlier but the taste is much better then this one and also it state the ORAC ingredients etc upfront

Doesn’t mix well, tastes bad, notice no benefits

I went into this product with high hopes, but came out feeling like I was duped. First off, if you put this just in water, it tastes absolutely terrible. Might as well throw some stevia in there. Also, this stuff will cake on the sides of any glass or water bottle you put it into. Doesn’t mix well at all.

Lastly, all this “ORAC” hype, yet I noticed absolutely zero benefits of taking it. I noticed about the same effects I would get if I ate a strawberry. ONE strawberry.

Overhyped, overpriced product. Spend your money elsewhere.

Very high quality

This is at a great price for the quality of the product. Very highly rated in Lyle MacWilliam’s “Nutrisearch Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements”. In that book there are several products he rates slightly higher, but this is the best one I’ve found with a reasonable price. Of course, you shouldn’t rely on a capsule to get your nutrition (and I don’t) but with mineral depletion in commercial farmlands being what it is, this stuff is great insurance, and WAY more effective than the mass marketed useless products like Centrum, One-A-Day, etc.

Best vitamin I’ve ever taken

These are the best vitamins I”ve ever taken. I’ve never felt any different when taking any other vitamin, but with these I do. I noticed that after two weeks the dark rings I was beginning to develop under my eyes are gone, and I have more energy. These vitamins do upset my stomach slightly if I don’t take them with food, but if I do, no problems.

I highly recommend these vitamins over others I have taken from Kirkland, GNC, Centrum, etc.

Great vitamin!

I have been taking this vitamin for over 2 months now and it has been great. I have noticed an improvement in my ability to focus on tasks (one of the ingredients in choline) and during periods of high stress when I typically get sick, I have not since being on Life Force. I would recommend this to anyone.

Works!!! **update** read beware @ bottom

(3/22/11) I took 1 pill the first 2 days and didn’t feel anything. I increased to 2 pills per day and noticed a big increase in thirst which is great because I am finally drinking close to 8 glasses of water a day. I was very surprised when I started getting full after eating half the portion of my normal everyday lunch portion. This pill helps you eat in moderation. You wont see results the first few days of course but I just checked and I’ve lost 5 pounds in 6 days. I don’t feel sluggish or hyper. I have the energy without the help of my daily coffee or rockstar. You have to avoid caffeine when taking this pill so make sure you are willing to give up your coffee or soda.

***UPDATE***4/22/11
I started taking NUMIA on 3/15, in a week I lost 5lbs. I weighed myself after 30 days and I’ve lost 20 pounds! (tip: do not weigh yourself more than once every 5 days or so) I gained 40lbs in the last 16 months after I started my new job and horrified to see my shirts and pants have “shrunk”. I recommended this product to a friend and she told me it wasn’t working. She showed me her bottle and noticed that her pills are purple. The real Numia PILLS ARE BLACK. The Box it came in appear to be the same as mine but the label on her bottle is all in spanish and the pills were different color. I will be writing Numia to find out if this is even their product.

Great appetite suppressant!

*Update: So, I’ve lost a few more lbs. Down to 144 since last update, so I’ve lost a total of 12 lbs so far. I’ve reduced the frequency of taking the pill. I feel like it causes me to get light headed because I’m not consuming enough nutrients. I’m not hungry but it’s important to make yourself eat for health reasons or I feel you’ll have adverse health effercts. I’m comfortably in a size 6. I STRONGLY suggest you take stool softeners and/or laxatives….like the last appetite suppressants I took, my biggest fear came true….CONSTIPATION! I had to deduct a star for this since it says it helps you with regularity and it actually makes it worse*

***Update….I lost 10 lbs by the end of the 2nd week and was down to 146!*** I have never taken more than 1 pill/day and some days (like today), didn’t take anything and my appetite is still non existent. EVERY meal I eat is forced down! IT’S AMAZING! By far the BEST pill I’ve ever had and I’ve taken SEVERAL! This is a KEEPER for sure! I haven’t weighed myself since the 2nd week but I’ll jump on again soon. Size sixes are getting loose again! YIPEE!!!!

So, I’ve been on the hunt for a pill to suppress my appetite and I believe I’ve found exactly what I’ve been looking for!

On the 1st day of taking this pill I noticed a difference right away. (started a week & a half ago). I’d previously taken a pill that worked wonderfully at suppressing BUT it came with awful side effects. The thirst was unbearable and the constipation led to excruciating hemorrohids. This product has displayed neither side effect for me so far.

I have noticed that I’m slightly thirstier than usual but it’s definitely bearable. It says that it promotes bowel movement…I havent noticed that part of it though. I’ve only gone twice since I started taking it but it wasn’t hard, which was a relief (I tyically go 1-2 X’s/day). I’m not sure if I havent gone as frequently because I’m not consuming as much food, or if its for other reasons.

I’ve lost 6 lbs so far (keep in mind that I’ve been under the weather for a few days). I had been in the mid 140′s since Fall 10′ and suddenly jumped up to 156, that is when I decided to start taking something to help with my over eating.

Overall, I’m delighted the weight has come off so quickly. Wanting to loose another 10 lbs and keep it off. No complaints so far.

this really works!!

I was skeptical about this working since most pills dont really work well. And this works better than the high priced phentermine products that you can get at most weight loss clinics! It gives me the engergy I need with out feeling jittery and I can actually sleep well at night! It totally controls my appetite, only big thing was to make sure I had plenty of water to drink because you feel thirsty for water all day long. I highly recommend this product for anyone that is really serious about loosing weight. This boosted my weight loss thru the roof! I had already been dieting and excersising and this just helped me loose 15 pounds in one month! I love it!
