I found this product to be exactly as described and very helpful if you are looking for a healthy cleanse of your system. I have researched the ingredients carefully and found them to be very appropriate. It is a very economical product because it is not required every day, week after week so I end up saving some pretty decent money over time. Acai is a nice antioxidant which is just a really nice added bonus. It has helped me to lose weight also.

Solid product

I’ve been using this product for only 2-weeks now. I was surprised on how gentle it was with my system. I was expecting to feel sick, naseous, bloated etc.

That’s not to say there wasn’t a day or 2 when i felt a bit of discomfort but for the most part nothing crippling, life-interrupting restroom trips, etc.

I’ve noticed my stomach a lil bit flatter also. Personally, i use the product first thing in the morning on a empty stomach, i take 2 capsules, and on average i’ve used the restroom 2x’s a day.

I’ve used it as much as 3x’s as well.

Super cleanse 1 was to me by a girl I lived with for a couple of years. She and I both used it and really like it. She was a lot more motivated to try different products than I was but now and then, she would find something good and share it with me. Well, that girl is gone but I still use the product. It has helped me control my weight and just feel a whole lot healthier. If I am unhappy about what I ate over the last day or two, I use this product for a week or so to help clear everything out. It also helps clear out the GUILT I sometimes feel after eating junk food. Im not a nutriton expert or anyting but this a product that everyone should probably use.

A Must Read for Anyone with Acne

This is arguably the most important book on skin care in the last decade. It is not about hearsay, old wives tales etc, and it is not based on opinion or testimonials it is about scientific advances that have clearly shown that diet and acne are linked beyond any doubt. In addition to the updated diet and acne research from Harvard, Australia and other centres, there are some 300 scientific references in the back to support the connections. I thought it was an interesting combination of authors, a naturopathic doctor and a conventional dermatologist, and this seems to pay off for the reader. The chapters provide scientific explanations for why sugar, milk and so-called bad fats can promote acne. On the other hand, they also describe why whole grains, fibre, antioxidants, omega-3 fish oil and green tea can help acne. The authors provide shaded boxes for some specific anti-acne nutrients like zinc, selenium and some others, and they explain why acne patients may need more of these nutrients and where they can be found in foods. I liked the stress-acne chapter, how stress influences dietary choices, and the guidance on stress management was appropriate. This book should be in every high school library and the waiting room of every dermatologist’s office.

Highly Recommended – dermatologist’s perspective

Every acne patient should read this book. I find it very unfortunate that the American Academy of Dermatology has continued to perpetuate the myth that diet is not linked to acne. As someone who has made the choice to lead a healthier lifestyle, I was essentially following this diet for the past several months before I even read the book. I could see wonderful changes in my skin in addition to other changes (lost 30 lbs, was no longer tired and achy). I no longer had monthly flare-ups of the female adult acne, no longer had a drab complexion. People told me my skin seemed to “glow” and that my skin looked like an ad for an Oil of Olay commercial. I was no longer dependent on the latest and greatest topical treatment from the big pharma.

Great Information for the beginner

If you’re new to the topic of tea than Tea: The Drink that Changed the World by Laura Martin is the book for you. Beyond the expected coverage of how tea is consumed around the world the book includes a terrific load of basic information on the plant itself, how it is cultivated, managed, and harvested.

Only good if you know zero about tea

At worst, the author is misinformed. She makes her first big mistake early in the book, by referring to the oxidation process as “fermentation.” Those two processes are very different. There’s really not much to learn from this book for anyone who knows anything about tea. I was hoping for a lively history of the tea trade. Now I’m bummed that I spent money on this book. Note: The author is not a tea specialist. Apparently she writes articles for home and garden magazines.

Good look into the history of tea

Laura C. Martin gave the reader a good account of the history on tea and its intimacy with the history of man kind.

I was surprised with the brutality exercised by the British over the Chinese and Indians in order to profit from trading in tea and satisfying the social demand of the British. I have always viewed the British as benevolent and environmental conscious but this book changed that.

Some astounding historical events:
1. The European used tobacco and opium to trade with the Chinese for tea!

2. In 1830, the Chinese imported over 2.5 million pounds of Indian opium; controlled by the British!

3. From 1830 to 1840, the Chinese traded 366 tones of silver to the British, primarily for opium grown in India but controlled by the British.

4. When the Chinese captured and destroyed chests of opium worth nine million mexican silver dollars (one Mexican silver dollars was worth 2.5 pound in mid-nineteenth centry, which is about 169 pounds, or 355 US dollars today), the British sent warships to Canton , where they quickly and efficiently destroyed the Chinese army. The result was the Treaty of Nanking, signed on august 29, 1842. In addition, England was awarded “most favoured nation” status in China. The Chinses were forced to pay for the lost opium and the cost of the war! {However, who started it??”}

5. The British was far from satisfied with the Treaty of Nanking and were impatient to legalise opium, The result was a second Opium War in 1856. Again, the British won easily, and the Chinese legalise opium, and England continued to export Indian opium to China until 1911.

6. The British controlled tea plantations in Assam during the nineteenth century but the conditions on the plantations were devastatingly difficult for the worker. There was rarely enough food and the water supply was polluted. and diseases such as malaria, fevers, diarrhea, dysentery, and cholera were rampant.

7. The British paid for coolie to transport tea from Bengal to Assam and paid for each coolie who delivered the tea alive. “Alive” did not equate “healthy” and in some years, over hald the coolies died in transit, while countless numbers arrived so weak that the died within the year, mostly from cholera. They were treated as just another part of the financial equation calculated by the Assam Company. About 30% of the recruits were women and children. {Now the British feel child labour is deplorable!}

8. Tea was highly taxed; five shilling per pound – equal to thirty -two British pounds today!

Great tea, great value for money, great for high blood pressure!

My wife suffers from high blood pressure and not wanting to get hooked on blood pressure medicine, sought out natural ways to control her blood pressure. A collegue of her’s recommended rooibos and thats how we started drinking it. Its expensive to buy by the teabag and this product was the best value for money we could find. Love the taste, no additives and best of all, my wife’s blood pressure has come come down noticably(she’s been drinking a large cup daily for the last six months).

Very good tea

This is a great tea. I highly recommend all Davidson’s teas and I am really glad I discovered them for myself and my family- chamomile, rooibos, hibiscus, green teas- the price is great and you get the organic tea of high quality & quantity.

Rooibos tea, like green and black tea, has been found to be rich in anti-oxidants and flavonoids. In fact, Rooibos tea has been found to have as much as 50 times more SOD than Green Tea. It also has other anti-oxidants not found in other teas.

The effect of free radicals (a by-product of normal cell function) in the process of aging and declining of the immune system is limited by the anti-oxidants in Rooibos tea.

Rooibos tea is completely pure and natural, as it contains no additives, preservatives or colorants. It is a soothing drink for people on a calorie-restricted diet, without adding kilojoules.
Rooibos tea is also strongly recommended for people suffering from irritability, headaches, disturbed sleeping patterns, insomnia, nervous tension, mild depression or hypertension. Serum for true skin health and glow!!

I love this stuff!! Five months ago I was diagnosed with having AK’s (Actinic Keratosis — lesions that can develop into squamous cell carcinoma/ skin cancer). My dermatologist recommended I use Skinceuticals CE Ferulic every day as it prevents thymine dimers (DNA mutations associated with skin cancer) with a medium exfoliator for a few months before taking more drastic measures to eradicate the AK’s. My skin has never been healthier!! The lesions (which were scaly, itchy, and red) are healed and the overall apperance of my skin has improved dramatically and is much more even. My pores are smaller and I have a healthy glow. The CE Ferulic also is packed with antioxidant protection to help fight free-radical damage and provides photoprotection.

Serum was old and yellow – obsolete product

I have been using this serum for over a year and I am very happy with it. I usually order from Skinceuticals but I wanted to save some money. The serum I received from Amazon was old and deep yellow. When you buy this directly from Skinceuticles, it is completely transparent and not yellow. Yes, it is more expensive, but at least you get a new product.

REFRIGERATE C E Ferulic!

C E Ferulic’s immediate effects will vary from person to person. Some people may experience immediate brightening, toning and improvement in their skin texture. Other’s may not be able to tolerate it well and get inflammation. I recommend using it only once every two days if you’re having issues with inflammation (it’s what I do).

However, for EVERYBODY, this product will decelerate aging on the skin. It’s so powerful and I look forward to 20 years from now when I look younger than all my friends. HAH!

There is one very important thing I do which no one else has mentioned on here. Since it takes me about a year to finish a bottle of C E Ferulic, I keep it refrigerated. When I order it, I make sure it is almost completely clear (if not then return it). Even after a year of being refigerated, it only turns light yellow. This means that the refrigeration is preventing oxidation of the product and allowing it to stay effective.

Supposedly, “yellow” product is still effective but I really think that the clearer the product is, the better. My dermatologist even recommended that I return a bottle to a vendor one time because he thought the product looked oxidized. When I received my replacement, it was crystal clear.

This is the best diet pill I have used to date. I have tried many products and none worked for me. I lost about 20 pounds in 4 months. I did how ever workout five days a week and watched what I ate. It is also a very good price as well, compared to other diet pills. Also keeps you feeling full so you will not be hungry. So what do you have to loose, but weight?

I have been experimenting with different acai product and I have to say this is the least effective by far. I was fooled by the fancy box. This product gave me no help at all. I usually avoid natrol product because they seem to be the bottom of the barrel and you end up getting what you pay for. I will be more careful in the future.

3-4 months experience with chizu saeki’s skincare routine

I have been following Chizu Saeki’s skincare for about 3-4 months now. I can honestly tell you that her skincare routine is not a bad one even though it takes up A LOT of your time in the morning and at night.

I can’t say that all the time that you are going to spend massaging your face in front of the mirror is worth it, especially for young women. If you don’t have wrinkles and stuff, you will not see much of a difference except that your skin is getting quite soft and a LITTLE BIT clearer. However, if you do have wrinkles, this skincare routine might benefit you in some extent. From my experience, most of the fine lines will fade away, just not the deep wrinkles but then again those may need more than just 3-4 months of massage and stuff.

As one of the reviews mentioned before, her skincare routine is not cheap. You need to invest in more stuff than what you saw on the first few pages. The total investment can add up to hundreds of dollars if you are not that into drugstore products.

Also, please take note of the lotion Chizu Saeki used to make her lotion mask. It is not the normal lotion we would think of. This lotion is something like a toner but not quite. If you want to see how her “lotion” looks like, just go to Nars counter and ask to see their hydrating lotion(which is what Chizu Saeki mentioned in her book) or go to Shiseido counter and ask to see their softner (which might be referred to as toner sometimes).

Love this book – totally improved my skin!

I cannot say enough how much I love this book… easy, nurturing and women-positive suggestions. Not caddy and shallow like many “skin help” books. Advice is easy to follow and straight-forward. I will say however, that what is referred to as “lotion” is really what American’s think of as “toner.” However, when selecting one to use for the all-important “lotion mask,” which I do twice a day you only need a HYDRATING Toner. I use Avalon Organic’s Lavender Hydrating Toner for my combo/normal skin. It is AMAZING! Takes out your blackheads while hydrating and refreshing your skin… my ruddiness at the bottom of my cheeks is gone! B/c of the twice daily massages and addition of an Aveeno syrum and sunblock to my regime my 30-something skin looks FLAWLESS! Just don’t feel pressure to buy expensive products any relatively natural or organic drugstore brands will do! Finally, I didn’t want to buy the big sheets of cotton so I order Cotton Clouds that I wet and add toner to and then separate into thin pieces and lay allover my face like a puzzle for the 3 min lotion mask.

Saeki san — superb skincare mentor

When I learned Saeki san had finally written a book for English language audiences, I ordered it immediately, knowing it would contain valuable wisdom and well-tested skin care secrets most Japanese women already know well. Saeki san is a beauty goddess in Japan (perhaps internationally in beauty-fashion circles). I’ve known of her for years, being a former Tokyo resident. She is featured on Japanese television and in fashion magazines all the time, and is highly regarded as a beauty expert by women of all ages. I’m finding her book so impressive, honest, and intelligent. She is a true advocate of taking good care of one’s skin and overall health, and treating it like you would a precious, fragile gift. This book provides basic techniques and good habits to practice daily for taking care of one’s skin, using one’s own hands and intent to achieve positive results, no matter what products are used. She does not have a line of beauty creams to sell — any will work well, along with her instructions. I really like this about Saeki san. For me it adds to her credibility. I am following her advice, with excellent results so far. She is so sincere about taking personal responsibility regarding skincare health and overall well being. At last, I am able to consider her my beauty coach and mentor, just as my friends and colleagues in Japan do.

Finally—an anti-ageing book that really gets down to basics. The Anti-Ageing Solution explains what and why things are happening to us as we age. It is not just another “try this book” but a clear roadmap of the ageing process and how we can repair our own roads, as well as resources to to make the repairs. There are a lot of books out there on this subject and believe me I own quite a few. “5 simple steps” is what this book proclaims. I have put these five steps into play in my life and have simplified everything. My health has improved.An added bonus- my weight has dropped yet I no longer diet. It has allowed me to take a fresh look at “old age” and realize age is just a number. It is the quality of life that counts. At 58 I feel like a kid again. I am glad I had the good fortune to discover The Anti-Ageing Solution.

Just Another Book In This Genre

The book claims to help you:

1. Say goodbye to aching joints, sagging skin and fatigue
2. Improve the quality and function of the genetic material in your cells
3. Ramp up your body’s self-repair functions
4. Increase your stamina, endurance and sex drive
5. Dramatically improve your resistance to disease, including cancers
6. Have more youthful, radiant skin

You don’t need to be a cynic to be able to tell that the claims are all inflated. Sure, you’ll see some improvement if you have been leading a very unhealthy lifestyle, but for those of us who are already exercising regularly and eating a relatively healthy diet, some of the tips on progressing further to “genetic repair” will sound a bit too good to be true.

In fact, most of the advice and recommendations given in the book are not very different from that found in many other books on nutrition and supplement. The authors just gave all the info a “DNA twist”. I stopped reading the book a few chapters from the end when it begins to talk about hormonal supplementation and some glowing testimonial on the author’s services. All “natural”? No side effects? How long have the subjects been followed up and how long have physicians really practised hormonal therapy on otherwise healthy individuals? The results may be real, but how safe is it for the rest of subject’s life?

Sounds like another one of those practice-promoting books in this genre. Disappointing.

This book is the “real” deal. It offers a very simple plan for reversing the negative effects of aging. I especially like the information on nutrition and DNA repair. I’ve starting using the recommendations for supplementing my genes and already feel younger and like I have more energy. I’m in my late 30′s and people think I’m in my late 20′s. Buy this book! Read it and then read it again this information will change your life–it did and continues to change mine for the better.

acai jucie extreem works for me

I have been using this product for 5 months now and am getting ready to buy my third set of 3 bottles. I love the fact that I get more energy with this but alos the antioxidants of a quality acai are not to be ignored. Antioxidants are important at fighting free radicals that can cause cancer. People are exposed to cancer causing things all the time, every day and having a strong defense set up is really a great approach is a nice way to go. I am still very overweight but was that way before I started. I have lost 37 pounds over the last 5 months but this isnt just from this product. I have also been improving my eating habbits and sometimes walking during lunch as well.

It is hard to find pure acai products like this one. I really am carefully with what I take. I am on my third bottle and have enjoyed a nice energy boost that I especially see in the afternoons. I take 1 with breakfast and 1 with lunch and it seems to work out nice. I have lost a dcent amount of fat around my gut and legs but don’t own a scale to do any measuring. Acai is a nice antioxidant alos. I will be back for more.
