The single most effective product

If you don’t know how to listen to your body telling you what it needs, don’t buy this one, it’s not for you. As for me, this was the most effective cleanser I’ve ever used. I never did increase the amount of pills I took up to the full dose, and it tooke me over 3 months and a few sets of bottles to achieve the results that are now lasting over a year. It cleaned EVERYTHING in my body: my skin (which looked like a big, oily zit before and now i don’t have any excess oil or zits on my face), my liver (it stopped hurting), the digestive system, kidneys, my chronic respiratory problems, chronic weakness, joint pain and discomfort, and several more. The key to using this product is being able to “hear” what your body is telling you it needs and how much. Sometimes a small dose over a longer period of time works so much better and far more effectively(even though it works much slower) than a big dose all at once, which could make you sick and cause some complications in addition to missing out on feeling really great! Hope this helps!!

Gentle but not getting the affects expected

I am not sure it is doing anything because I have gotten up to the 3 pills each a night and have been here for 4 days with only one elimination a day which is completely normal for me. I am debating going up to 4 each but I thought 3 was the most. I had better results when I drank the Super Dieter’s Tea. The tea moved everything! I only had one cup in the evening. I don’t think I would get this one again. Another cleanse I was on a year or two ago showed results in the second day. I have been on this cleanse for over a week and haven’t seen the difference.

Great information, expensive/hard to find ingredients

I was recently diagnosed with insulin resistance, so I jumped right on the Low Glycemic train. I love the Complete Idiot’s Guide to 20-minute meals, so I thought this would be the best place to start. The first part of the book has lots of helpful information, and each recipe shows all the nutritional content. The downside is that a lot of the recipes include expensive ingredients or ingredients that I can’t find anywhere, such as Hi-Maize and Xylitol and Soy Flour. My only resort would be ordering online. With the 20 min meals book, I could almost always flip it open and find something to make with what I already had in the house.
The fruit recipes are plentiful, but as someone who loves fruit, I can eat tons of it and don’t need the bother of cooking it. But for those who find it hard to get in their daily servings, they would probably be great. I also found that many of the recipes involve a lot of meat and though there is a small vegetarian section, those recipes don’t look stellar. I would say, if you’re a vegetarian, a picky eater or on a budget, maybe just try looking up recipes online.

Forget the Glycemic – this is a great cookbook for everyone!

My friend told me about this cookbook and since I had read other books by Lucy Beale, I bought this book even though I am not that familiar with the Glycemic Index. My goal is to eat less carbs and sugar and more veggies and protein – turns out that is kind of what this cookbook is about! Low fat!
What I really like about this cookbook is that most of the recipes are very simple using ingredients that you would normally buy or have in your pantry. There are lots of everyday recipes and some others to share at dinner parties or for special occasions. My favorites so far are: Spaghetti Squash with Meat Sauce and to be entirely decadent – the Chocolate Ganache and the Flourless Chocolate Cake. My husband is gluten intolerant, so the flourless cake is a hit at our house. One of my daughters is a Type I diabetic and I bought this book for her and her husband. She loves it!
This cookbook is for everyone. I love the fresh ideas and easy recipes. The authors have included info with each recipe on calories, fiber, protein, carbs, and fat.
I have this cookbook out on the counter in my kitchen, and when I get stuck for an idea of what to cook for dinner, I ALWAYS find a recipe in this book. Buy it!!

You’ll forget these are healthy good-for-you recipes, they taste so good and offer so much variety. Check out the Pecan-Crusted French Toast, Pomegranate Flank Steak, and Flourless Cherry Chip Cookies. These bring a new level of succulent food to the table of anyone who wants to lose weight or eat for health as well as for those who love great food. The authors satisfied my sweet tooth yet avoided using artificial sweeteners.

Bad batch.

I recently purchased a couple of cases of this when Amazon had it on sale. I’d never tried it before, but since it’s healthy, I thought I’d give it a whirl and pawn it off on somebody else if I didn’t like it. When I opened my first bottle, I thought it had a really strange, fermented taste and smell — yes, sadly, I tried a sip of it — and had a lot of thick, gooey pulp.

I contacted the manufacturer @ (415) 775-6355 and asked them if this was normal. Apparently, they had a bad batch with their old manufacturing plant where the bottles were not being sealed properly and have since spoiled. She asked me some questions about the bottle, got some order numbers and cap numbers from me, and they are sending me out some replacement cases. They were very friendly, apologetic and helpful. So if you get some from Amazon and the taste seems to be off, I’d encourage you to call them and let them rectify the situation for you.

Zola lives up to it’s claims…..

I had read several articles proclaiming the wonders of Acia juice… Skeptical?..of course. The price was somewhat prohibitive but I found it on the shelf of a local health food store and decided to give it a try. At first the taste was quite strange…fermented like wine(but I got used to it and actually enjoy it..). The juice is not a smooth drink it includes some pulp( not like you’re drinking oatmeal)so there is definitely texture. My interest lay in the fact that it promoted weight loss … result…it has increased my weight loss slightly BUT it has resolved bloating and bouts of constipation and fatigue. Although I am not losing weight by leaps and bounds the resolution of the other 3 issues gave me more than enough positive evidence to continue using Zola. I do have hope that someone out there will have a generous sale on this product =)Zola Original Acai Superfruit Juice, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 12)

Interesting taste, I like it

I wanted to taste it just because I like to taste new stuff, and because it is claimed to be “superfood”. I liked the taste and now I drink this one or ONE Acai nearly every day, just because I like the taste and because it’s conveniently delivered to me by Amazon’s subscription.

I buy tons of stuff on Amazon and rarely write reviews, but I remember when I first open this web-page I hesitated to buy, because there were a lot of negative reviews. I finally bought it out of curiosity, and was prepared for something awful. It turned out to be one of my favorite drinks. So I thought it would be fair for the product if I write a review.

I gave it to other people to taste, and most people liked it. Like with any food, there are personal preferences. Some people drink coffee, some don’t. So my advice is – ignore any review (positive and negative). If you want to taste it, taste it.

P.S. I’m not telling that Acai juice is any better than let’s say blueberry juice. It’s just that I like variety, and that Amazon delivers this one to me. I would enjoy Amazon having more natural berry juices available for delivery.
P.P.S. Amazon, please, resume selling the Acai+Blueberry juice from Zola. I liked it the most out of Original/+Blueberry/+Pineapple, and you took it out…

Zola and migraine

This is a long message. I apologize for its length. I would like to communicate my experience with Zola Acai Blueberry. I started drinking it, and the other two drinks in this series, Zola Acai Plain and Zola Acai Pineapple, several months ago, before they switched over to their new processing and bottling procedures. I tried all three drinks, and eventually became addicted to Zola Acai Blueberry. When they switched over to their new methods, I was at first disappointed, because I was used to the old taste and composition, but the contents were exactly the same, and I quickly became addicted to the new. It’s by far my favorite drink, and I have to stop myself from drinking more than 3 bottles each day.

Healthy but Odd

I ordered 2 cases of this based upon the fact that the beverage contains substantial antioxidants. When I tried it, I found the taste pretty odd, and the drink rather gritty. Not terrible, just not particularly appealing. I guess that is the compromise you get with something so good for you. I will finish drinking all of my order eventually but will not be ordering more. I would not call this delicious for sure! Gibing it four stars anyway because others may enjoy the flavor more than I do, and it is indubitably healthy. One suggestion only – drink it very cold, as it seems a bit better that way.
