Most effective acne solution!!!

I have suffered from adult acne since I was 21 and tried so many products, including prescriptions ones, that I have lost track. The only reason I bought this was because it was on sale at Target for 16.99 and I thought what the heck. My expectations were beyond low. To my surprise, by the next day, my blemishes have either cleared or the inflammations went way down. After a week, my skin was almost flawless. Needless to say, when I went on my trip to Asia, I bought it with me. I shared it with two of my cousins who were both suffering from severe adult acne. Two days later, both of them came back to me with amazing results. I would recommend this to anybody. I would however suggest that additional moisturizer is needed afterwards.

Works so fast!

I have been using this product for two weeks now, and I am amazed already at the improvement in my skin. I am 25, and only this year have started having terrible breakouts with whiteheads, blackheads, and milia centered mostly on my cheeks right below my cheekbones. The hyperpigmentation (red marks that stay long after a blemish is gone) has been terrible! After just two weeks with this product already I am getting far less red, inflamed breakouts, and the hyperpigmentation from the previous blemishes has faded dramatically! My whole face feels much smooother and is starting to look even-toned again. The smell is kind of funky, and I find the moisturizer to be a bit greasy for my tastes, but as you put it on at night, these are not deal-breakers, you just go to sleep and forget about it, wash it off in the morning. Bottom line is, after all the peels and “intensive” products I’ve tried, this one works the absolute best, giving me fast, dramatic results.

Amazing

I am in my mid twenties and have had acne for years. Have used a million things in the hopes of clearing up my face, including Proactive and prescription drugs, with little to no results. My Mom bought this for me on a whim. I tried it with absolutely no expectations whatsoever, thinking it was going to be like all the rest, lots of hype and no results. I did the peel at night, the next morning I woke up and I noticed some of the redness was gone, and the acne was significantly minimized. I was completely floored, after putting on the peel three times in one week I saw results I have never even seen with prescriptions.

The best treatment for problem areas!

So since I have turned 40 I have been having acne in my chin. (The really painful acne that you can feel coming on a few days before, hormonal or cyst acne, not sure which one ) I now use this every morning and evening and its been two months since I have had a breakout, and the scars left over are pretty much invisible. I am so happy I found this product, it really works!!

Product REALLY WORKS!!

I am completely amazed on how fast this product does the job! I been struggling with acne for YEARS! Then once I hit my 20′s the acne bumps started to subside, but what never died out was the scars it left on both sides of my cheeks! I hated looking at myself with no makeup on, especially seeing my scars staring right at me! So I decided to try this product out in hopes that it could cure my skin condition and IT DID! I couldn’t believe it! I use it every night before I go to bed and sometimes in the morning before I put on my foundation! I bought a 3 pack on here for like $16.99 and made sure I stocked up! I would SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT to those of you who are suffering like I have! The price is a bargain and you won’t be disappointed! I adore this bodywash

I have been a loyal used of this body wash since I first tried it about 8-9 years ago as a teenager. I tried all of the anti-acne body washes and never made it through a whole bottle. They either smelled horrible or made my skin feel dry. This is perfect and I hope they never stop making it. It smells lovely (I get compliments all the time and I never wear perfume!) but the scent is light and not too feminine (my boyfriend also uses this). It leaves my skin feeling SO soft and clean! I rarely get breakouts on my body, though they come back if I run out and use something else. My only real complaint is that I have to buy it online because it is not available in stores near me. Also, a bottle lasts a long time (about 6-8 months when used daily) because a little goes a long way. I bought this three pack about two years ago and only now do I need to buy more. Love it!

I’ve been using the phisoderm body wash for the acne on my back for a year or two by the time i finished the first bottle it was completely clear but I can no longer find it in walmart stores…Thank goodness for amazon i got a three pack for $10 in stores the bottles are roughly $7 each so def a bargain.

As good as Neutrogena body wash even better…

I’ve had body acne for years!!! I’ve tried all the body wash products MURAD, OXY, Neutrogena.. And i found that almost none of them were effective….. After years and years i finally found what the problem was… It was my laundry detergent! I went ahead and bought new laundry detergent it was called Tide Free and gentle for senstive skin.. And it cleared me up within weeks! After figuring out that it was my laundry detergent that was causing my body acne especially my back acne i tried to get rid of body wash to save money.. Acne came back!!! So i realize that I needed acne body wash… plus senstive skin laundry detergent and AHA lotion to keep my skin clear.

Anyways i found that all of the bodywash work the same! I like Neurogena and Phisoderm the best… But since Phisoderm is cheaper and has the same ingredients as the Neutrogena body wash I prefer Phisoderm better… Added to that PHISODERM smells better and they’ve also added the extra Vitamin E, Aloe & Chamomil. So PHISODERM is the winner for me! Neutrogena smelled like chemicals too me! They had the grapefruit too but im a guy!

So if you’ve suffered from body acne for years and tried all the products try looking at your laundry detergent too….. That might be the cause. My current regimen right now is Tide Free and Gentle to wash my clothes with… I also sleep shirtless… Then i use PHISODERM for my body wash and AM LACTIN (AHA) as my lotion/moisturizer.. So far no break outs just little blemishes here and there nothing serious.

I’ve given this product a full five stars because its cheaper! its effective and the smell is just really good! With the added Vitamin E, Aloe & Chamomile! This is definately work five stars! salicylic acid and ph balanced! i love this product

Proactiv is the new kid on the block. You have in all likelihood seen the infomercials, ads and kiosks in the malls all touting the Proactiv scheme and the nice tanned picture of Vanessa Williams or Jessica Simpson. Proactiv is a three step system consisting of a cleanser, a toner, and a repairing lotion. The cleanser has a main ingredient of Benzoyl Peroxide, the toners main ingredients are Glycolic acid and glycerine and the repairing lotion also has a main ingredient of Benzoyl Peroxide.

The thing that I genuinely like when it comes to the Proactiv system is the fact that it is a very integrated system and ought to treat your skin in the right manner by having a scheme that looks after each of the distinct elements of skin care and using the proven power of Benzoyl Peroxide. The difficulties that I see with the Proactiv scheme is in the first place the price, it is a very costly scheme to buy and secondly this a product that is built on a syndication message and not just sound medical advice. Clearasil

Simply the best

I am amazed at some of the reviews which demonstrate that some alleged readers didn’t read the book very carefully at all. Paula clearly admits that the reviews in her book are her opinions. However, I’ve been reading her books for over a decade, and her opinions are based on solid, thorough, scientific research NOT funded by anyone other than herself. I don’t know of another book that can make that claim. She mixes her opinions with facts that few others dare because she has nothing to lose in the process. When she tells the truth, we all benefit. Articles in women’s magazines stand to lose an enormous amount of advertising revenue if any editorials threaten to blow Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique, Maybelline, or any cosmetics company that spends literally millions of dollars in ads off their solid gold pedestals. Paula also states quite clearly that if a certain regime or product works for the consumer, then the consumer should stick with it.

However, for the rest of us who need guidance in choosing what is best for our skin and make-up routines, this book is a godsend. She rates products on the ingredients they contain, their effect on the skin, and how well they work. She never claims that all products purchased in a drugstore are as good as those purchased at expensive prices in department stores. She freely acknowledges some poor products that are inexpensive do exist. And she also acknowledges that some poor products which are expensive also exist. In other words, the price of the cosmetic has nothing to do with its effectiveness, safety, or application.

What this book really does is give facts to help the consumer separate fact from fiction. One time when I was shopping for a toner, the cosmetics woman at the department store told me that the alcohol contained in her product was “cosmetic” alcohol – not the alcohol that would dry the skin. Sounded good to me….until I thought about it. Paula cuts through the sales talk to which too many of us have ignorantly submitted and taken as gospel.

The book breaks through the “natural” myth, as well. Of course, we all want as natural as products as possible. What the natural companies don’t often tell us, however, is that besides all those wonderful-sounding names are some very basic (harmless) chemicals that actually perform the task of the product. I personally like Aveda’s hair products, but it isn’t the natural products that are cleaning my hair – it’s the chemicals. Paula helps us differentiate between what chemicals are harmful and which ones are beneficial. It often has little to do with brand name. Some products in a certain line are highly rated, and some are not recommended.

The piece of advice that I garnered from the book, for which I shall forever be indebted, is the use of BHA (beta hydroxy acid) on my face. It has given my skin a brand-new look and made my skin healthier and better-looking than when I was a teenager back in the 1980s! I’d tried different ways of exfoliating but her recommendations of BHA for skin that is blemish prone and of the exact percentage (1% for me) was probably the best skin care advice I’ve ever received. I was nearly ready for a (completely unnecessary!) chemical peel costing an obscene amount of money and committing unknown damage to my skin when I learned about BHAs from Paula’s book.

It’s true that Paula does have a line of both cosmetics and make-up. However, for anyone who’s read her books, she does not push them at all. She speaks generally about ingredients and about what to avoid and what to seek. Her products are simply listed with the other 200+ brands! I do admit that I love her products because I know I can count on them not to contain perfumes, dyes, and other extraneous items that are used to sell most cosmetics. As someone with extremely sensitive skin, her skin care products are magnificent.

I think the biggest boon to Paula’s credibility is that she is not immune to changing her mind or advice, based on new research. She demonstrates a true ability to learn and grow with the rest of us. Too many “beauty” books contain a lot of fluff and little substance to really help the reader. This book contains a lot of raw facts and arms the reader with an arsenal of knowledge to help her (or him!) make the best choices she can for herself. Whether or not many people will admit it, a lot of cosmetics and skin care companies have been forced to revise their products in our favor due to the information contained in Paula’s books. We owe her a lot.

Trying to be as thorough as possible in this review

I’ll try to be as thorough as I possibly can in this review.

I’m a pretty big fan of Paula although I don’t agree with *everything* she has to say. Being in the skin-care industry myself (I am a bio-chemist) I feel as if I am a little more aware than the average consumer. Some of her research seems dead-on while some seems a little off-base. I’ll explain:

Natural ingredients. I happen to be a huge fan of natural ingredients yet Paula, I feel, is way to harsh on companies or products who use such ingredients. As an example, she seems to be a huge fan of mineral oils and petroleum (both biproducts of the oil industry) while I am not. I just don’t understand why she uses mineral oil and petroleum as her main moisturizes and praises any formulation that uses them as their main moisturizers. The molecules are simply too large to thoroughly absorb into the pores. They just sit there on the skin and look greasy. On the other hand, plant based oils are lighter in texture, are from natural sources, and are loaded with vitamins. Mineral oil just sits on your skin and clogs the pores.

Essential Oils. When used in moderation (preferably in concentrations of %0.25 – %1) essential oils can work wonders on the skin and, I feel, are much safer to use than their chemical counterparts. Tea tree essential oil, for example, is one of the few things I can use that zaps my blemishes. On the other hand, Paula seems to be a rabid fan of BHA. Although effective, it is just too harsh for most people. She seems to really bash anyone who uses essential oils in their products. These are basically natural plant extracts that have several benefits for the skin and are meant to be dilluted and used only in small amounts. Sure there are some companies that overdo it (I won’t name names though I can think of one in particular) but when used in the right amounts, essential oils can have awesome and natural benefits for the body.

Fragrances. Though I totally agree with Paula in that fragrances should never be used on the face or eye area, fragrances are a nice additive in “fun products” like bath oils or shower gels. Again, they are used in such low concentrations (%0.50 – %3) that only those with extremely sensitive skin should avoid fragranced products.

Product Reviews. I understand why she did not review her own products in her book (it seems like some of the other reviews in this section have a problem with this). But it would make no sense if she did rate her own products. If she gave one of her own products a low rating then we would just think “well fix it, silly.” lol On the other hand, I do think some of her reviews of other companies were completely unfair. Who cares if you don’t like shiny eye-shadows or fragranced items- those are not “scientific no-nos” but personal opinion.

Pricing. This is something I agree with Paula on more than I disagree. If you are paying more than $35-$50 on a facial cream, chances are, you are getting ripped off. Remember, in order for the emulsion process to work, water makes up approximately 70% of the total formula. No matter what else is in it, these companies that charge outrages prices (like $250 for 1 fl oz. of facial lotion) are out of their gourd and are really taking advantage of the consumer. I recently purchased a facial serum for $129. The main ingredients were water and vitamin E- Something I could have made myself for $2 if I had bought the ingredients myself at a health store. So on that end, to an extent, somethings can be way overpriced so I have to give Paula kudos on exposing that one (although expensive items don’t necessarily mean overpriced). I usually stick to the “$35- $50 rule of thumb.” If it’s over $50, chances are, you’re getting ripped off.

Hope this helps some people. This book was pretty much a hit or miss with me.

A great idea that, sadly, missed the mark

I used to work selling cosmetic ingredients. Meaning that I didn’t work for any particular company, but in selling ingredients via a broker to cosmetic chemists and scientists of major cosmetic corporations. Because of this, I learned a wealth of information that I am not sure the author may have gained, although I do believe she has good intentions.

The major discrepency I would point out at is that petroleum based products are her go-to moisturizer. Petroleum jelly and petro based ingredients are very cheap for companies to use so it’s been highly popular. However, it’s been banned for use in cosmetics or skin care ingredients in Europe because it’s been shown to often carry carcinogens. It does, after all, come from the ground…It is actually currently going through FDA retesting right now in the United States because of this. (Google “petrolatum cosmetic toxin data”. It takes waaaay longer to ban something in the US than other countries if it’s been shown to cause some problems.) Because of this, any company I sold ingredients to that was big enough to be a world-wide company would not order any petroleum based ingredients because they are banned as toxic overseas already and are expected to be here in the next few years. Yes, petroleum jelly…what people put on their babies in the United States is banned as a skin ingredient elsewhere and expected to be banned here if tests go as expected.

She has her own cosmetics line that uses many controversial, but very cheap ingredients. That bothers me. For example, she is against all-natural and organic ingredients and says so clearly. However, these have been shown in so many cases to not only work better, but be healthier…yet, they are far more expensive for a company to use in manufacturing. In looking at her own cosmetics line, she certainly doesn’t seem to go for the most proven yet more costly and natural ingredients…they are, instead, quite basic and inexpensive…

I am not saying this is profit-driven. I am saying that cosmetic scientists have much to say about it.

There are many things the basic consumer is not aware of. For example, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate are some of the worst cleaning agents you can use in your hair, are highly stripping, and are also used in industrial floor cleaners. Yet in the United States, we equate “foaming” with “clean” and these are high foaming agents. They are also not used in Europe where there is more consumer knowledge about cosmetics and ingredients. Marketing-wise and price-wise, shampoo companies get more profit from using these. However, if you locate a shampoo that is sulfate and paraben free (They are getting far easier to find now as the consumers in the US become more smart on what they are using on their bodies) your hair will SHINE. If you dye your hair and avoid these ingredients, your color stays in twice as long, but if you go to a hotel and use a cheap shampoo with these in it, you’ll see a great deal of the color wash out that day. It’s that stripping of your hair’s natural moisturizers as well as color. I have never had a hairdresser not commont on how incredibly healthy my hair is since I learned this. And I dye it which they can’t believe because that SHOULD be stripping…but my hair gets no SLS products so it’s strong and shiny. Although she is a hater on natural ingredients, science says otherwise.

Now let’s cut to acne products. If you see commercials like Proactive you’d assume you should pay more for a name. In reality, all over the counter acne products are the exact same thing (one of 2 products)…either up to 2% Salycilic Acid or up to 10% Benzoyl Peroxide plus other inert ingredients. They both work on acne differently but, by law, over the counter products can only contain that certain amount of either ingredient. Some products, like Proactive actually have LESS of the active ingredient than generic brands however! (you are paying for the marketing, not a better product) So forget the name, turn the bottle over and look at the ingredients…If 10% Benzoyl Peroxide works better on your skin than Salycilic Acid, Use the cheapest product with it. Proactive wash only has 2.5% and all other ingredients in it are inert (you will see 2.5% benzoyl peroxide listed as the only active ingredient on the back of the bottle) so you are getting less but paying far more, for example. On the other hand if Salycilic Acid works better on your skin, use a product with 2% of that. Forget the name. But you aren’t going to get any difference in strength with a different product up to a certain amount. It’s illegal for an over the counter med to contain any more than this. And there are only 2 primary ways to fight acne in over the counter meds (unless you go all natural) and that’s it. The other ingredients are inert. How do they both work? Benzoyl peroxide knocks off the top layer of skin cells to open pores, Salycilic acid is actually chemically similar to aspirin (which is why you can put crushed aspirin with water on a zit in a pinch and get good results) and SA will not only slough off the dead skin cells which clog pores as well, but it will also fight the bacteria within the breakout and also prevent clogging of the pore in the future by helping to reduce the pore size. Because of this, for most people, 2% salycilic acid is a better acne medication…because it does more. But everyone is different. If your skin works best with Benzoyl P, just find a cheap brand with 10% Benzoyl P in it instead. Just remember to read the label…in over the counter products 10% Benzoyl Peroxide is the most it can contain by law or 2% salycilic acid. Paying for water and other fillers , or a product with only 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide is getting less but paying more for a company’s ads.

And guess what? Does a product you use tingle? Cosmetic companies put things that tingle in the product that are inert to make you feel like they are working. Americans equate tingling or burning with “it must be doing something”.

You don’t need to buy expensive tanners at the tanning salon. Buy a regular brand…Same thing.

But do not buy No Ad sunscreen…this is where you don’t want to go generic. Those ARE worse and watery and won’t stay on.

Look, it’s a profit driven industry and these are just some examples. Unfortunately, I feel this book is also profit driven in pushing the cheapest ingredients that are also used in the cosmetics that the author sells even though some of what she pushes the hardest have actually been banned in other countries due to skin problems and health problems and are expected to be banned here as well in spite of the alternatives being more expensive for cosmetic manufacturers–which is why they are lobbying against it.

She mentions alcohol being drying and to avoid it–which it is in hair care products such as mousse BUT there are ingredients in the best skin care lines or hair care products that contain the name “alcohol” that are good ingredients such as stearyl alcohol or benzyl alcohol which are fatty alcohols. In fact, stearyl alcohol acts as a thickener and is the exact opposite of drying…so much so that it’s used commercially in swimming pool liners to PREVENT the evaporation of water! (I kid you not) Benzyl alcohol is an all-natural ingredient and is derived from plants and is commonly found in fruits and teas and found to be beneficial as a natural bacteria reducer and is very good for your skin. You will find it in essential oils such as hyacinth, and ylang-ylang.

The idea of the book is a good one and she does have some useful information in it…she just missed the mark according to cosmetic scientists in my own discussions with them. And I have worked with the best and the brightest.

VERY pleased

I started having problems with adult onset acne at about age 25 – am now 40. Have tried everything – oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, retin-a, etc. etc. Despite trying numerous dermatologists, I never got what I considered good results – just a three minute visit and a couple of scripts. Decided to try this – at the price, nothing to lose. Man am I pleased. For the first time, acne is resolved (I have used the peel once a week for about six weeks). My scarring is improved and my skin tone is becoming much more even. Even improving my melasma. I would highly recommend this product. Word of caution. Acne will worsen after the first treatment – wait it out – it will improve Dramatically.

Great Product on Ebony Skin

I started getting acne young, when i was about 10 and i didnt know how to look after my skin then. No cleansing, toning or even moisturizing because i thought that would give me more spots, what a fool i was.
The problem with black skin is that it hyperpigments easy and by the time i was 21 i couldnt bare to look at myself in the mirror, i had so many acne scars i couldnt stand it. Dermatologists were no help, the pills and creams are useless if you dont have a good skin care regimen which is something the doctors dont usually tell you.
In 2001 called around and was told by everyone on Harley Street that dermabrasion and skin peels were not for black skin tones so i paid £1800
for lazer treatment. It worked to some extent, the spots went and my skin looked clearer but if i had known about this product i wouldnt have bothered.
The truth is that these skin acids can and are used safely on ebony skin tones and have been for years. I am a caramel complexion (like Tyra Banks), my first peel ever was the Skin laboratoty 70% lactic acid peel and i experienced no problems at all, just be sure to follow the instructions. My second peel was the salicylic 20% peel by Skin Laboratory and my skin looks great. My skin is visibly clearer, lighter due to the fact that the hyperpigmentation is fading, i just look great and i’m so happy. And for the price, its a bargain compared to £200 per month on microdermabrasion or £1800+ for a course of lazer treatments. I would highly recommend both the product and the company. I honestly cant imagine my life without these peels now, i’m totally smitten.

Definatly works!!

At first i was skeptical of this acid peel, but changed my mind soon after.
I took before photos to see the change the peel would have on my face, and its only been about 4 weeks, but i will take pics soon of the after results after 6 weeks.

Im 20, male, white, with slightly oily skin, and acne that sometimes turns horrible on me and makes cysts only on cheeks though. One cyst next to my eye and eyebrow left a bad scar.

This stuff does tingle a bit, but very bearable. Used first for 2 mins, and had no effect, upped it to 4, same result. Used the full 8 mins the next day, started to see improvements. I modified the instructions a bit because my skin is used to exfoliations by 10% benzoil peroxide which only made pimples smaller and face a bit dry.

I used every other day for the full 8 mins every time. But i suggest follow their instructions first before adjusting it. No down time here, and no redness like some people mentioned, and i dont apply moisturizer. The skin feels same before and after application, but results can been seen a few hours after the application as well as increased results over 24-48 hours. The company suggests using a moisturizer, so dont take my word for it that you may not need it, so start with that. I started first using this product with a moisturizer but i think it clogged my pores and cause mild acne.

The results i got were:
-Pores got smaller noticeably on the nose, but not as much on the cheeks.
-Face became much more smoother, the scars got blended in(not the major ones thought)
-Face is less oily after application as well as for the next 24 hours or so. No moisturizer was needed for me, as the amount of oil on my skin after use of the peel stayed at a perfect level.
-Face got lighter (can be seen in my pictures), and red spots from old acne lightened up slightly.
-Acne breakout decreased alot. I no longer get acne on my cheeks and forehead. My problem is the nose and chin, mainly the bottom portion of the nose.

Final Comment: I would recommend this product to first time chem peel users. My sister is trying it right now. My skin is not sensitive, so i will be looking for a stronger solution, maybe 30% salicylic, or 35% glycolic. May buy this (in the 100 mL bottle) after i get rid of my red spots to maintain an acne free face.

Ill keep you guys updated with what happens in the next 2 months or whatever because its only been 1 month, and full results may take much longer. btw, i still have half the bottle left after 1 month use.

Update (aug 16, 2009): I ran out of the stuff and have ordered another bottle, but i have not been getting acne after i stopped, so i think it played a huge role in it. Much less red spots compared to 3 months ago. Scars did not really change much. Skin also feels much more smooth without any pimples appearing all the time.

Even Accutane didn’t work for me…

I highly recommend this product in combination with other Biomedic products from LaRoche-Posay for the treatment of stubborn acne. I had trouble with moderate to severe acne for most of my 20s. I tried everything – accutane, 5 kinds of antibiotics, differin gel, ortho tri-cyclen + aldactone, stuff from tv, and oftentimes, I used several of the treatments in combination, as directed by my ever-hopeful dermatologist. Finally, I went to a plastic surgeon to see about some scar treatments, and before he did any major procedures, he put me on a combination of effaclar K, a couple of other biomedic products, Retin-A micro, and I had regular micro-dermabrasion and/or facial peel treatments. Retin-A Micro gave me really dry skin, so after I cut that out, everything else worked perfectly. I know other people’s recommendations can be annoying, especially when you’re certain that nothing will work, but I’d say that this product is worth a try! It really did help me. I continued to use it even after I stopped going to regular microdermabrasion appointments, and I have never had a reoccurence of acne. (As a side note, I also avoided major plastic surgery as a result of the success.)

Outstanding

I wish I had found this product long ago.

It is the only thing I’ve actually rated 5-star on Amazon because I believe it rates it.

It reduces visible zits when applied directly to them- sometimes in just a couple of hours.

When applied to the whole face after a warm shower just before bed, you wake up with a clearer, cleaner, tighter face. The acidity kills acne-causing bacteria on and below the surface of the skin, dissolving oily residue, preventing clogged pores, and eating away dead skin.

I found this product in Paris, and a few years later it started to be exported to the USA. Until then, I was spending alot of money to purchase and ship it here into the USA where I live. Now that it is available on Amazon.com, I’m so overwhelmed with happiness.

I cannot possibly say enough. This stuff really is that good. 10/10!!!

I Love This Product, I Really Do…

I love this product! I have tried literally hundreds of beauty products from many countries and in every price range. I’ve used cetaphil and creme de la mer… However, I can say that after two months of using this product it is the best thing I have found for my acne-prone skin. As my dermatologist always emphasizes after I tell him I feel like I’m wasting my money, there is no such thing as a miracle. He’s right, and I still get some breakouts, but this has helped- noticeably.

It also did not dry my skin the way all other acne products seem to do. I pair it with LRP’s toleriane moisturizer and I get no flakes at all, and almost no zits. Best thing I’ve ever found for my acne; in my case better than prescription gels or antibiotics. My skin started getting better in a few days, but give it a try for at least 2-3 weeks since it takes some people longer to see results.

I really like this kit and how versatile it can get. You got extractors of different shapes and sizes,s o you can pick thats most appropriate for your situation

The only qualm i have about this product is that the lancet is not sharp (perhaps safety reasons?)

Not bad, but was expecting better.

Comes in very nice packaging, great set of tools.

Each tool can get screwed onto the handle and easily interchanged. However, the loop tool, which i tend to use the most often, became loose after a few uses and does not screw on right anymore. Now i’m left with using it without attatching it onto the handle, which can be a bit of a pain. Literally.

Helped my sensitive skin!

I bought this product to deal with some mild acne around my chin. I also get the occasional painful cyst-type acne (I am in my mid 20′s and this is a recent development).I have pretty sensitive dry/normal combo skin and other treatments I have tried have just made me peely and flaky.

I have been using the treatment for a month. At first the treatment was a little drying so I went to using it every other night and now I am applying it every night following it up with moisturizer. My skin is DEFINITELY clearer. The product is easy to apply, soaks into your skin pretty quickly and is unscented (a huge plus!) It is still a little irritating everyonce in awhile but I have not had any ridiculous peeling/redness. I’m still not sure how it will be under my makeup wearing it all day.

Overall, I am impressed with this product, it has helped out my skin!

I was so depressed when I was using Neutrogena’s 2.5% benzoyl peroxide because my face would always be a dry, peeling, flaky mess no matter what moisturizer I used!! This product is much better. It is still drying, as any B.P. treatment is going to be, but it just glides on so much smoother and is considerably less drying. I get a little bit of dryness but not the peeling, awful-looking skin I had. On top of all of this, it works wonderfully! I feel like my skin actually looks not only clearer but healthier and more vibrant!
